Facebook sucks

Been on FB for years and watched it getting worse and worse on pure stupidity and censorship.Today beats all though,on a turkey hunting group said that if I wanted to shoot a Jake on my land and fry it for dinner I would A Jake is a young turkey,if you didn't know.Seven day FB jail for promoting violence How f I g stupid can they get.Seriouslyconsidering leaving the dumb farcebook totally.And got shut down once because of saying coon for raccoon once talking about garden pests.And the topper is they're at least patially responsible for the Biden disaster,so I think I'm dropping off their crappy platform,though I will miss some of the groups and people.

Congratulations on realizing that FB and all other social media platforms are not good.
Kinda surprised it took till now but to each their own.
I dropped that crap many years ago. If famiyor friends feel the need to tell me something they have my cell. I don't see the need for other platforms.
It's going to suck for a week or two but after you will feel great.

If you shoot a wild turkey, you should have to eat it. I am a hunter, but I do not shoot anything for sport...if I kill it I eat it or I just leave it alone. That doesn't go for things like mice though, I won't eat rodents if I have to kill them.

People who complain about others killing things are often the same people who throw away half of the food at the dinner table. I hate wasting, whether it be plant or animal. I try to eat almost everything that died so I could live. I buy eggs from a local person who grows chickens for eggs. Those chickens are kept even though they are not laying anymore...she is very humane and the chickens are her friends.

So when I pay three bucks a dozen for the eggs, I am paying into the retirement fund and also child support payments...since I am eating their child before it is born, I should consider it child support payments. I am not buying eggs, I am supporting a bunch of chicks....seems to me I have worked all my life supporting chicks....My wife is now an old Hen though.

Just leave it, I did years ago and don’t miss it in the slightest.

Social Media is basically just a digital shrine that people build to their egos.

I actually think it’s one of the worst diseases to infect a large swathe of humanity.

Yeah,I've stayed mostly to stay in touch with old friends that live far away.I used to enjoy some of it a lot,but it's not worth it anymore.Other than keeping in touch it's pretty pathetic now.

I left FB like 7 years ago, good job on you and welcome to the club. I don't do any other social media either. I spend my time on the internet reading and researching mostly.

Took you long enough to figure that out , I always wondered how they post massive profits that make a bank blush when they sell nothing and are free to use !

I did have a account a long time ago that I logged into 3-4 times a year ,I posted a article years before the Cambridge analitica broke how they were targeting teens in areas with advertising etc and watching their responses and months later it was still up on my page ,So I put up a story about all the famous people who were heading to Antarctica for some reason or as I worded it all the cool kids are holidaying here ! And I named them , I got a message from somebody famous to take it down but did not know how to so I just closed the lid of the laptop and thought nothing of it , my account has been permanently locked

lol on a serious note, that's how it should be. People these days wouldn't know how to survive if they were sent back in time 1000 years ago.. everything is handed to them. I'm not a big fan of eating meat, just tastes funny these days compared to yonks ago. But I know that if I had to hunt, it would not be for sport, but survival. We are carnivores, after all, and not inherently sadists.

People these days don't even know how to boil water.....

I have to keep my account/s had like 10, 9 of them have been mortally banned. heh

But my oculus vr needs it.. only have like 6 people in my friend list, most of which never respond to anything I say anyway. I don't even go on there, just use the share to facebook button on sites that have it with content I like.

No one on facebook is there to like you, they're there for you to like them.

I had someone on fb years ago, copyright claim MY OWN CONTENT. I was banned for 30 days, till I disputed it, and instantly I was unbanned.

The dimwits who auto ban are probably sitting somewhere in india, in between making calls to scam people.

Way back then my old computers had very little ram yet I could have ten plus tabs open and the process manager would be low and behaving itself but open Fakebook and it went crazy even when it was the only tab open on the computer ,I performed this experiment on friends machines with the same results everything went haywire.

I still do not understand all the crypto currency stuff but I would put money on Fakebook using people's computers to mine it and explain their profits ,it would suprise you how many people could not hear a computer being put under load or have a clue how many processes were running ,even when you closed down Fakebook it would still leave running processes and track your everymove on mobile devices even if you never used it , it always made my Spidey senses tingle and I am glad I never use any of that social media or would let it on my devices these days
