The bodies were found by a relative of the victims, who could not get through to them by phone. The woman was worried and decided to visit her relatives. She found the bodies of Gazprombank's former vice president and his wife Elena in one room. The body of their 13-year-old daughter Maria was found in another room.

This will be a hard one to ever get the truth out of. Was it suicide or assisted suicide?

Russian authorities wasted no time with a conclusion.

Investigators concluded that it was a murder and suicide, because Vladislav Avaev, the deceased head of the family, had a weapon in his hand. The reasons for the incident are still unclear.

An answer too soon off no evidence. Off that alone I will guess he was murdered and the family unfortunately had to go to.

While there where some martial problems they seemed to ended up being squashed between them outside of court after the first one.

It was later reported that Vladislav Avaev was in a legal dispute with his wife for the right to single-handedly raise their daughter Maria. He lost one lawsuit, while his wife withdrew the other one.

Even if he killed the wife, why would he kill the daughter he loved enough to fight for?

Definitely leaning towards murder and had to get rid of witnesses.

What did he know? Or what did he say or could’ve said?

Don’t bang the fake suicide drum when similar thing happen in the West if they don’t apply in the East.

A conclusion to the investigation in less than 24 hours is reason enough for suspicion.

I mean if it was ruled Epstein committed suicide, who is anyone to question any other suicide? In all seriousness, with the marital problems, I wouldn't doubt his wife drove him nuts and he offed his whole family for it. Marriage can bring out a pretty dark side of people, especially when blackmail comes into play and with his former position, it's definitely not out of the question.

I wouldn't bank on that, a guy I grew up with killed his one year old and himself to keep the mom from having him.

Not saying it would be outside the realm of possibility at all. Looking around though and doing some reading it seems more times than not the kid is left out of it.

It just seemed like they had this excuse ready to go. And called it case closed within 8 hours. A high level exec like that? Former or not. Not likely.

I'm not saying that doesn't mean it was a hit, I just read that line and brought up some bad memories. That would seem logical, but if this was a murder/suicide you're dealing with an irrational mind.
