Alex Jones' InfoWars files for bankruptcy in U.S. court

Seems the writing is on the wall for Jones and InfoWars as in the face of the litigation against him he has been forced to seek Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.

According to Sunday's court filings, InfoWars listed its estimated assets in the range of $0-$50,000 and estimated liabilities in the range of $1 million to $10 million.

This seems to just be a way to avoid paying any court judgements while keeping the radio/podcast/website business viable down the road. It probably also will help Jones get a court to change whatever the judgement was for his ex-wife regarding monthly support payments.

This perhaps wouldn't have happened if he had volume and tone controls to level his credibility. You can't shout things into people.

I'm sure somehow there is a lawyer on his side that told him to do this. Assets between 0 and 50k? That's laughable.

He has a multi-million dollar studio and staff but I'm willing to wager those business assets aren't "his".

I gotta give Jones credit. He did bring a ton of subjects to light that had previously been hidden from the public. But some of his rants are unfounded.
