A Riddle if you will – Who Am I?

I see you
I see you every day, every night, everywhere, all the time
I am always with you
I am before your eyes
I am always looking at you
I am looking at you right now
I watch
I am

You look through me
You don't see me
I am right here
Actually, I am right there
Just past the landmarks

See me yet?
Look, a squirrel

Who am I?

Does someone know the answer to this riddle?
I don't know the answer to this riddle.
I wrote the riddle, but I don't know the answer.
What is this thing always staring at everything and everywhere?
Starring in everything like a chronic photobomber.
It is kind of maddening.

Clearly, the character who is the subject of the riddle would seem to be God, or at least, your slightly warped conception of God, which seems to be limited to viewing God as some cosmic schoolmaster, always watching, waiting for you to screw things up, waiting to punish you.

Thankfully, the real God is not like that at all, and in fact desires only that you walk well in the world, that you know Him, and that you enjoy a rich & satisfying life because of His blessings.

I hope you are open to finding Him, as the rewards of seeking Him out are infinite.

I agree, it does sound like the air around us.

But I don't think it is the air.
It is something weaving narratives of sorts.
I think it is intelligent.

If "it" were not there, everyday life's happenings would not be meaningfully documented in someone's mind.

"It" is to our minds what a spider web is to a bug.

Ahh a kind of web? So Indra’s web then with its countless eyes perhaps, or the ashaic record?

Or the electromagnetic spectrum which carries all frequencies and thus information in its range..?
