God? You mean the one who said you shouldn't have other gods besides him?
Don't kid yourself if you're worshipping Jesus you declare a human as another God.
Personally I think it's a lot less bad to paint eggs and be happy spring is back.
Let's let God judge

The Holy Trinity is one God. Like water. Ice, liquid, and vapor. It's the same water in three forms.
Worshiping Christ is worshiping the one true God.

The good Lord was captured, put on trail then tortured to death and his people denied him, one even turned him it to the Romans for silver. I never celebrate this event, even though it is what allowed us to be saved.
Yes, he rose from the dead and ascended into heaven, but none of it makes me proud or happy. I think it is the worst holiday to worship the Lord, if anything Christmas should be around this time of year and they can abandon the other pagan inspired holidays. Too many damned holidays on the calendar as it is.
My great aunt used to go and spy on the Penitentes when she was a young girl in Colorado, ages ago when they would whip themselves like Christ got whipped. That would be the way to show real respect for this holiday, get whipped, wear a crown of thorns and carry the cross like they do.

Are you not aware Jesus commanded us to partake of the Lord's supper?
You should rethink your opinion, your soul is in danger.

Here's some stuff I learned researching this gatekeeping of a topic:
Matthew 12 39-40
He answered, “A wicked and adulterous generation asks for a sign! But none will be given it except the sign of the prophet Jonah. For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of a huge fish, so the Son of Man will be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
Straight from Jesus, he states that he will be dead for 3 days and 3 nights.
But here's the interesting thing, 3 days and 3 nights from Resurrection Sunday, doesn't place the crucifixion of Jesus on Good Friday. It places his crucifixion on Thursday.
If Jesus died on Friday and rose again that Sunday, that would be 3 days and 2 nights.
The bible gives possible evidence that Jesus died on a Thursday. Mark 14:12, Luke 22:7 and John 13:1.
Each of these scriptures had the disciples prepare the Passover meal on the Day of Unleavened Bread, also known as the Day of Preparation.
The Day of Unleavened Bread is always on the 14th day of the first month (Nisan) in accordance to Moses' command in Leviticus 23:5.
It is essential to note that the Day of Unleavened Bread should not be confused with the Feast of Unleavened Bread, which is the official first day of Passover.
The Feast of Unleavened Bread immediately follows the Day of Unleavened Bread. This places the Day of Preparation at sunset Nisan 14.
Jesus would have to be dead Thursday, Friday, Saturday and risen Sunday for the 3 days to align with his words.
Nisan 14 (April 7) 30 A.D. was a Wednesday.
30 A.D. as the year of Jesus' death doesn't create the 3 day plot hole as 33 A.D. does.
With Passover, Ramadan AND Good Friday aligning on April 15th 2022 (Nisan 14), it's safe to say that the celebration of THIS years Easter is... Kosher
Hope everyone can find something to celebrate this weekend.
Happy Easter to all and to all a good night.

What is the oldest non-bilical reference to Easter you can find?
