Some days I love my state!
Yeah I know, not really a "conspiracy," not some earth-shattering disclosure, but I thought this story was absolutely hilarious! So I'm sharing it.
Hopefully it will provide a little relief from the doom and gloom.
Cattle loose on I-65, authorities have no
beef
MORGAN COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) — Several calls were made to the Decatur Police Department and the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office Tuesday morning,
but the reason was for something a little unorthodox.
Around 20 cows were roaming near Interstate 65 just south of the Tennessee River Bridge, causing quite a disturbance for drivers. The Morgan County
Sheriff’s Office joked that the cows were indeed not part of the bridge inspection process.
Here's a quick video clip of the news:
Beware of cattle near I-65 south of Tennessee
River Bridge
So apparently someone made a mis-
STEAK and their cows had to be
MOO-ved off the Interstate.
The last line in that excerpt I posted has to do with the fact that the Tennessee River Bridge near Decatur is currently undergoing inspection by
ALDOT.
I don't know, there's just something comforting to me when even in this day of high-tech, over-controlled, surveillance-riddled idiocy, a major
Interstate is still at the whim of hamburger on the hoof. Call me weird.
