Well if the case of the duo impersonating DHS officers and rubbing shoulders with federal agents and secret service officers wasn't bad enough. Now its has come out that they were tipped off about the investigation into them... It seems there may be other compromised agents. After learning that they were under investigation they shipped evidence out of their apt. to a USSS agent along with some cigars. Appears as an attempt to compromise more officers!

As the investigation and court case proceeds I expect even more to come out. These guys were at it for 2 years!

Ah it's not important if the Department of Homeland Security is compromised...

Wow, this is moving pretty quickly so far. I"d like to blame it on Trump but in this case I guess can't. Wait, let me see what I can drum up in my addled brain. Nope. nothing. THanks for the update Ricky. As far as small stories go, this one could explode before anyone can cover it up even more. Here's hoping.

Yea I can't blame this on any president as they don't usually delve into these agencies day to day stuff. But these federal officers and agents they were hanging out with should have known better. And did you catch the part where a naval intel officer actually filed a suspicious activity contact report on him because he felt like they were inappropriately asking sensitive questions?

I hope this breaks wide open because we have all seen how fast and lose our bloated government agencies have been playing. The while thing seems corrupted from to top bottom...at least enough so that any good guys wouldn't matter.

Our country is completely and 110% infiltrated with Chinese agents and spies that I could believe they had some hand in this, at least as far as the tipping off goes.

Not much has been talked about, that I could find, regarding the nationality and state sponsorship of this pair, but if it turns out to have any tie-back to Iran, keep in mind who has been helping out Iran on the military and diplomatic fronts.

Don't worry, the FBI should be on this any decade now.

As soon as they finish microscopic investigations into U.S. citizens for January 6 and the kidnapping plot on the Michigan governor (hey, FBI managed to charge what, 4-5 of the conspirators out of the 13 involved? Not bad right?), they'll get around to the whole foreign spies infiltrating our government and security agencies.

Priorities guys; "trust the process"

Calm down, so far it's two guys.

Man, some people here have no appreciation for the skills of our intelligence agencies. Be an American, would ya?

Again, some of you are afraid of everything.

Not like 1 or 2 spies have ever done major damage before...these are just the ones we've caught...there have been others which were not.

Ones who were caught...

Like the FBI ? Or like the CIA ? You are afraid of joining most of us here in critically thinking. Obviously agreeing with the left on everything is not using your brain and thinking critically. The CIA was always dirty but of you haven’t seen what the FBI has been doing say just over the last ten years then you are as perceptive as the wall . You’re an American??? Why does everything you fight for benefit the global elites and harms regular Americans? Why do you do that? That is exactly what you’ve always done here and for you to tell someone else to be an American is the biggest joke I’ve heard .sad actually

I would be a bit worried if there was a state sponsered group infiltrating major federal agencies and compromising agents. Conversely I would also be worried about our federal agencies investigative motivations. We have seen them conveniently lose evidence when it seemed to benefit corrupt politicians...I don't trust that we haven't been sold out by those at the top. So yes I guess in this scenario the wolf and the shepard seem to want to eat us!

Cause so is our executive branch and probably the legislative and judicial as well. Then there is the DOJ, FBI, etc.

Too bad they were caught so early, would have been interesting to see where it lead, what their intentions were, etc.

I have heard they are Iranian born

A CI informant probably set the whole thing in motion. More false flags, more BS just another day. Smoke and mirrors, illusions. And lets be clear, a CI is an actual factual spy. Whethrr its law enforcement, IC or commercial...you are paying someone to spy and rewarding them by the quality (ie: importance) of their work. That alone is a motive for the CI to induce or outright invent criminal activity from thin air.

I have a real problem with the use of informants, who are absolutely prolific in every locality and municipality in the US. Its always been a problem and its only gotten worse. Some of the worse abuses in history were made possible through corrupt and intentional misuse of informants.

They are clearly implying a nebulous threat of some sort. Surely lies and misrepresentation alone aren't suspect right? This is the government's standard operating procedure.

IDK, smells like another fake Whitmer kidnapping to me.

FBI probably had its hands deep in this one.

I mean, you aren't really stopping an attack if you yourself created it. Sounds like the phoney anthrax type crap they still use to justify exorbitant federal agencies and intelligence services who are granted ever invasive powers to stop these "attacks" (both real and invented). Thing is, they dont work. They dont really stop anything. The stops are phoney induced nonsense they invented, and the real attacks usually go off without a hitch.

An armed and informed populace is the answer. Not these often abused intelligence and law enforcement entities that have shown they are accountable to no one. Including the law itself. It hurts to say it, but they have shown they are illegitimate farces masquerading as "good guys" while beinf in reality the exact opposite. They serve no legitimate purpose.

Maybe it was a sting all along or they used it as such...but knowing peoples tendency to become complacent I could see this going down. The parts that really intrigued me was that they had compromised at least someone or had inside help...and were actively trying to compromise others. That and the naval intel officer saying they were asking a lot of questions involving sensitive topics. That sounds like the actions of state sponsored actors...
