John Lennon's son sang the song for "The End of the World

The eldest son of The Beatles member John Lennon, 59-year-old British rock musician Julian Lennon performed his father's song Imagine for the first time. According to him, "this song reflects the light at the end of the tunnel that we all hope for."



Earlier, when The Beatles fans asked him to sing this song, Julian Lennon said that he would perform it only in one case - if the world ends.

"This song reflects the light at the end of the tunnel we all hope for," Julian Lennon tweeted.

Interestingly, the Ukrainian media decided to make a hype on this and immediately reported that this song was performed at a charity concert in support of Ukraine. Funny.

Understand Russian rockers. I am a connoisseur and lover of British rock of the 60s and 70s. We in the Soviet Union listened to this music on records made from x-rays. To listen to the original CD - it was a holiday.
We didn't understand the words. But the harmony of music and intelligible words was amazing. We Russians in British rock understood harmony, special moves of guitarists, keyboardists, bassists and drummers more than words.
Hence our perception of rock music))))

I'd have to vote this song as the one that's for "The End Of The World".

Every generation has their end of the world tune... I wasn't a huge REM fan, but I met a fantastic girl at their concert way back when

I think they should just have re-released his father's version but it's nice to see Nuno Bettencourt is still getting out and about.

I prefer Pink Floyd's Ukraine fundraiser , it seems more relevant.
