Most things well done are not easy to do.

It takes time, knowledge and effort, but it's possible, and it sure was possible in 2009 or 10 years before that.

Although it doesn't answer the question of tis origin completely, this footage was used in the New Zealand version of 60 Minutes - "The Truth is Out There". It begins around 3:20 is labelled as a SIMULATION of a 1978 sighting by an airline pilot.

That wingtip is definitely an f/a-18 fighter jet.

If it is, where is the pilot sitting in relationship, to the wing? Behind?

It “appears” the vid might have been shot from a low budget plane service called Blue Express in +/-2006….Here’s translated dialogue exchange of the YouTube vid uploader frossani that took place about +/- 2008….

The dialogue also eliminates the notion of the object being near the wingtip of an F/A-18 … imo

First question: it does not last long because it is a montage of the two clips in which one is
he saw something. The sighting lasted very little and it was difficult to
to resume. Second question: the video is not unreleased. Of the sighting
the TG spoke and the second segment was broadcast by a TG of the hour
lunch a couple of days later. There has never been a UFO association
pronounced on the matter. As the author of the movie, I had no qualms about it
publish it on youTube.

It is very likely that the company in question was Blue Express
low cost of Blue Panorama.
The flight was probably towards Nice as I am not aware of any stopovers
this company on other airports.

Yeah….I’m aware of that by MM….I was lookin to establish the country of origin of the “simulation”…it boils down to Italy 🇮🇹
