Hello. This flag is called Ubrus "Savior Not Made by Hands". This is the flag of Ancient Russia.
History.
On August 29, 944, the transfer from Edessa to Constantinople of the Image Not Made by Hands of Our Lord Jesus Christ took place.
Edessa (Edessa) was the first Christian state in the world. King Avgar received through his faithful servant Ananias the Image of the Lord Not Made by Hands. Jesus Christ attached His Face to the ubrus and handed it over to Ananias with His imprinted Image. With the help of this ubrus, Avgar was healed of leprosy. And then, who came at the request of the ruler, the Apostle Thaddeus baptized both Avgar himself and all the inhabitants of Edessa. The Savior Not Made by Hands was revered in the city-state for a long time despite the departure of the descendant of Abgar from Christianity, and then the invasion of the Persians and Arabs. Even the Muslims who captured and conquered Edessa did not forbid the inhabitants of the city to honor the Savior Not Made by Hands.
In the end, under the Byzantine emperor Constantine Porphyrogenetus (Purple-born), the Image of the Savior Not Made by Hands was delivered to the capital of the Orthodox World - Constantinople. The Savior Not Made by Hands is a material proof of the Glory of God, has become a symbol of Christian civilization.
In Russia, on the banners of the ancestors of the Russians, the Savior Not Made by Hands appeared very early, most likely, even under Equal-to-the-Apostles Prince Vladimir the Baptist.
The Image not made by hands of our Lord Jesus Christ accompanied on banners the army of St. Alexander Nevsky, who moved to Lake Peipsi and in many other battles.
Thank you for your interest

Aren't you afraid that this comment of yours will be seen by your superiors at work?
I'm worried about your safety, you could get fired for saying the LGBT flag. Be careful, we value your well-being.
I'll add to myself:
I believe in Jesus Christ. Every day I pray and read the Creed, I confess and take communion, I go to the liturgy in the Temple.
And I'm not afraid to say so. I am ready to go with the flag of "Savior Not Made by Hands" anytime and anywhere.
