I can only tell what my doctor said to me last week: 'We must follow the guidelines (of the Order of Physicians?) or we will get into trouble'.
She also told me:
'I think the doubt is growing.' But you can't speak out your doubt. (I added the latter during the conversation.)

I read a similar story somewhere too, the nurse telling patients about the harmfulness of vaccines still works because as she says
"I can help here more than to quit then no one would listen to me"
Truth will come out but so many life's wil be lots until then

I wouldn't call it a "mistake," more like a purpose.
