Thanks for the frank, thoughtful response. With all the buzz, what sort of 'somethings' might have been seen?
If we assume it really was an alien spacecraft, why would =IT= have responded to the 'buzz', and then pick the one hour that the grownups were all inside the school?
But it was also an age where hard evidence evaded us. Which it still does to this day.
