Two Alien Writers were unable to participate in our contest, but still wanted to show their support. They can't wait to read what you create!

Hey there folks.... if you've been out and about during these weather-changing days then you'll get the reference to the below. And of course, we all can't wait to see what you write for us to read in the this Contest because there is less than 13 days to go before the end.

I had a little time to spare and went and reread the stories already submitted. Hope you've had the chance to read them too, They are very creative.

We also hope that perhaps you'll join in and submit us with something thats "Spring Fresh"!

Yes, I will do that, too. I read them once, but a second reading is in order.

I'm really surprised we haven't had any contributions from non writers. I'm sure there are some real story gems that are shied away in people's minds.

Hopefully, it's just a sign that they are hard at work. Better late than never!

Well, I managed to get this one for this contest finished unlike the last contest with my story A Lonely Climb.
I’m a newborn to writing have so much to learn.
There are so many great composers and I’ve read some fantastic stories here at ATS. I can only hope, maybe one day I’ll get there….
I try to write these so there a lot fun to read but I also work hard to try to educate people who are truly interested in Commercial Fishing.
Especially about the fact that every one of the wooden beam trawlers I broke in on Scalloping are now gone. Each and every one of them.
My career spanned the end of an era.
Memory of the Wooden Horses we rode is slipping fast.
It won’t very many years before all of us Old Salts who worked them will be gone and our stories with them.

This one was tough to write and as I stated I still have so much to learn about “how to write a good story properly.
I enjoyed this contest immensely!

The gist of “Short Stories” is not lost on me.

I’m working on some real but short stories to post.

Duh!!!
My mistake.
In my defense, it was late and my eyes tired...

I can only imagine.
No defending yourself needed!
I spent 12-15 hours a day for the three days prior to posting for this contest glued to my ipad and went to bed exhausted.
Yup. the T & C’s of the contest. I didn’t read it close enough the first time.
I thought I had ALL of May to write also.
You Guys Taught Me…..Lol.
Being new to writing and being a two finger typer reading conditions will be something I pay much closer attention too now.

Anyway, the story I wrote just last night posted near the closing bell for the contest on the relationships forum, it ended with We got married on the first day of ….”SPRING”

OH, the irony!!!!
