Sadly we lost the idenity of our sexual taste in dressing ourselves. This years fashion went with you are not man or woman, you are a unisex human.
Serious people, tennis shoes now are unisex style, tee shirts and can you believe this crap, mens jeans now are design with a wider ass and lenght is above the ankles [ ladies style ]
Sexual frustration of ones identity is being pounded down our throats.

Actually, I find nothing offensive about unisex styles as a conservative.

Women are much better off in pants. It is much harder to rape a woman in pants than in a skirt. Plus pants don't fly up or are so short you see underwear. Pants are much more modest than skirts and much more practical.

Actually, you may be surprised that I always thought skirts were much better for men than pants. Their privates aren't all bound up which is better for fertility. No one can "judge" the size of their privates in a skirt, making them actually more modest for men.

Fashion changes and in ancient times everyone wore a skirt.

In the middle ages, men wore tunics longer than mini-skirts with tights

In many nations women wear pants as part of their traditional outfits through much of time. Vietnam, India etc.

Fashion is just fashion, and it changes constantly and actually quite rapidly. What one wears in the end is of little consequence as long as they aren't displaying their genitals, bottoms (I find anyone in a thong bathing suit to be advertising their wares, and not in a good way), and female breasts.

I always told my children that too and spoiled a lot of rebellion for them because I almost never objected to anything they wore.

Today unisex pants, tomorrow unisex skirts and later on full gowns like Arabs wear, it goes around in circles and is of no consequence. What is of consequence is character.

You may find that it is being pounded down yours but I for myself do not find it to be the case.
I gave up trying to fit any fashion sense decades ago and hence dress as I feel most comfortable. I find what you describe as current or upcoming fashion meets those requirements. Comfort and a lack of who really gives a # about fitting into a shifting culture of how to be fashionable.

Why "unisex"?

Why not "human clothes"?

Or how about men's/women's - boy's/girls options?

Seems to have worked well for hundreds of years because women can't fit into boys clothes and men can't fit into girls clothes and vice versa.

Oh wait! You mean the style of clothes. That's great! Like most uniforms, you'll be easily identified which is ironic asf.

LMAO.

Eh, it's first amendment stuff anyway so who cares.

I agree about the pants Billie. Always wondered about women in dresses. Sure I liked the legs and occasional ''shots'' but for wearing all the time and stuff, well freedom maybe. Likewise ages ago I thought about men in dresses as well. Being of Celtic blood I contemplated kilts and as you say the ''freedom to swing'' but never did, opting instead to looser trouser garments. Now, since covid and the easy of sweat pants, I ''ve gone almost primarily to those. Light, loose, comfy fits my bill.

Women look good in Jeans, Jeans are not sexist by any means. Teashirts look good on any sex, we were led to believe that color and style is important...it is not. It is consensus of the time being created by people who profit by cloths making. In my opinion those penguin suits people wear, no matter what color or fabric...are kind of rediculous....society was conditioned to respect suits, people wearing those uncomfortable things are crazy and you don't want to get into a spittin match with crazy people.

People can't comprehend that we have been brainwashed for a thousand or more years. Clothes do not make a person better, honesty and compassion make a person better. But that is the society we live in...the reason the rich get richer and deceive us into buying things we do not need...like jewelry and clothes that are far from practical...I guess being an idiot is fashionable these days, people who can think are to be avoided because they are not normal.

Think of all the things we have been led to believe in our societies by people who profited by it.

Totally agree. I will cut to the chase. Satan hates mankind because God loves them. His entire plan has always been to turn them all to his side and make them suffer. What better way to kill of the human race than to try and stop babies being born? hence...the "alternative sexual preference" choice and thought manipulation. Laugh away at my statement whoever want to to, but I will also add...don't forget...their logo is the rainbow - which is directly stolen from God as this was HIS symbol to show He would never flood the earth again.

Do you have a link or at least a brand name? I have a 24" inseam because I was born when 9 out of 10 doctors recommended Camel cigarettes.

I would love to buy a pair of jeans that fit right off the rack.

No it's not....

It's called freedom, self expression, fashion/capitalism in the market place.

Ma'am, you are free to dress anyway you want. It's nobody's business.

I think it's ridiculous that people have to be told that something could be/is "unisex". I always shopped for what I liked, even if it *gasp* happened to be in the men's section.

Honestly, I have freakish long arms, so many of my long sleeve tees and sweat shirts over the years have come from men's wear. And some days, I don't like the figure-hugging style of women's tees, so I shop in the men's sections for my sized shirts. They're more comfortable.

I also have weird feet that are the same size no matter which shoe section I shop in, so men's tennis shoes fit the same as women's, and I've bought them over the years as my taste has dictated. Who wants pastel pink shows? Not me.

They really are... but to be fair, at least when it comes to jeans, they have every style and every fit imaginable, so it would be weird if they didn't jump onto the unisex thing.

But I appreciate the non-sexualized (unisex) clothing selection for women. I just want comfy clothes that I can work and move in. And their tall sizes for women!

Again, I see it as just a giant virtue signal, since anyone with half a brain could have figured out how to shop for stuff outside the "gender labeling" if that's what fits them.

You'd think so... I'd think so... but I've been surprised -- and outright shocked sometimes -- at how many people are slaves to fashion (forever), and more recently, slaves to gender stereotypes and norms. I really thought we put that behind us in the 70's and 80's. But nope! And just wow. Some people seem to need society's permission/approval to dress for themselves. I don't get it, but I never much cared about fashion either. I wore boy's jeans for most of my teens just so I could get the length!

I get what you are saying OP... It's difficult to find non-skinny-leg pants for men these days. They are all peg leg style, and I think it looks stupid. I don't care if women like that hipster look on men, I prefer loose pants.

It also can cause lactation.

Now we need unisex nursing bras.

Now you've done it.
