www.weforum.org...

Read their site, it's all presented with a wonderful sauce, it is all for the greater good. It is in our best interest.

Such a wonderful idea, couple this with the QR code, vaccine, CO2, financial etc.

We decide if you travel. No more happy holidays with the family.

Ohh look my puppet WEF government is in on it. What a surprise government of the netherlands. WEF, Canada are also involved.

We have a WEF smart city here Apeldoorn. Basically the modern form of a concentration camp. White boxes on every street corner, camera's, other weird sensors. Might make a thread about this smartcity.

This sounds like an interesting topic; I'd like to hear more.

It's just an optional digital version of the KTN that exists now. You don't need to get this, just like you don't need to get Precheck.

I never needed a KTN to travel inside the EU. Will read into KTN, never heard about it. Thanks.

Still I am suspicious.

Nor will you with this since it's an optional digital version of the already existing one.

This whole KTN thing seems to be a USA thing.

Why is it suddenly a EU thing? Why is WEF involved?

Precheck/Global Entry is a thing here, it enables you to bypass parts of the security check point on departure and/or arrival however there were precursor programs prior to this in both US and the EU. This isn't new.

How frequently do you fly?

I am not sure why I should be happy about this whole thing.

Flew once, ages ago hate it. Europe is very pretty by car

Can't travel outside my country now anyways, not by car or plane.

Then why are you even worried about this? You're never going to use it.

I am worried because the WEF is involved, my own #ty government is involved and this is just one small piece in the puzzle to eventually restrict people from free traveling. By car, bus or plane.

Bit of a stretch, it's for flying, which you admittedly don't do. But feel free to be paranoid.

Yes this is for flying.

But this is for crossing the borders in the EU ec.europa.eu...

So no airplane, no bus, no car across the border. This circle will get smaller to eventually don't leave your smartcity

It definitely seems to be a control measure to restrict travel, though isn't tourism huge in Europe? I could see countries dropping this sooner or later as conditions warrant. Unless their citizens just blindly accept it.

My pet theory is they are doing so because it catalogs, limits, and /or tracks the movements of all those immigrants from the Middle East and Africa throughout Europe.
