While the media and government claim the New World Order is a "conspiracy theory," world leaders and business magnates hold meetings where they openly discuss it. For example, the World Government Summit 2022 was held in Dubai on March 29 and 30. In the capital of the United Arab Emirates, the introduction of the New World Order was discussed. CNN's Moderator Becky Anderson opened the meeting with the question, "Are we ready for a New World Order?"
The meeting aims to “shape the future of governments” and “create a better future for humanity.” These include Klaus Schwab, founder of the World Economic Forum; Director of the International Monetary Fund Kristalina Georgieva; UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and WHO chief Tedros gave an appearance. Schwab said at the 2022 World Government Summit that "we know that global energy systems, food systems and supply chains will be severely affected."
Government officials and even presidents from countries such as the United States, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Israel, Sweden, Jordan, Japan, South Korea, Rwanda, Morocco and Uganda were also present. Earlier, US President Joe Biden announced the arrival of the New World Order. He said the US should lead it.
The meeting aims to “shape the future of governments” and “create a better future for humanity.
The vision of freedom is clashing with what the American economist Thomas Sowell has termed the vision of the anointed. In this vision the global population is to be divided into two classes: the rulers and the ruled. The rulers consist of politicians, high level bureaucrats, crony capitalists, select members of the scientific community, and the mainstream media. These individuals conceive of themselves, in the words of Sowell, as “an anointed elite, a people with a mission to lead others in one way or another toward [what they conceive as] better lives.” (Thomas Sowell, The Vision of the Anointed) The ruled, in this vision, are not to be granted the autonomy to control their own lives, but are to “be watched, inspected, spied upon, directed, law-ridden, regulated, penned up, indoctrinated, preached at, checked, appraised, seized, censured” (Pierre-Joseph Proudhon), and commanded in every realm of life, so that the anointed class can attempt to actualize their idea of a brave new world.

Yes but we need to come together for the correct reasons, and in a manner conducive to the majority of humanity as opposed to facilitate the select few.
And if we do ever manage to get our act together collectively as a species, set aside our differences, and address the real problems humanity faces, as opposed to fighting and squabbling over ever diminishing resources, imaginary lines on maps and petty religious indifferent.
Its not just the world that's for the taking, but the rest of the star system, once we manage to colonise and industrialise low Earth orbit, then the moon, and then the rest of the place as we see fit, or as technological progress allows.

IMO, We have one Earth and if we cannot all come together--every country-- then no, we cannot have a New World Order. With the continuous racism and political divides in USA--who are supposed to lead the way-- then how can this come about? Who would be the model to lead this? Then ask what is their gain?
United Earth Order would be a better proclamation with representation from every 'tribe', abolish the UN and all the subcategories and start fresh with a common goal for us all.
We cannot exclude countries based on morals and religious differences and expect any unity? Who decides what is just?
IMO Until there is compassion for all then a New World Order will just create further division and suffering.

And who else do you propose should be getting together instesd of these people to discuss world economics in this interconnected globalized world we live in?

Me, AM, we'll give Bernard a shout, my mate Andy and I'm sure we could rustle up a few more ATS regulars.
I reckon we'd be able to come up with something just as 'good' as those usual idiots with all their vested interests and self-serving grand schemes and nefarious plotting.
I'll bring the beer.
