Thought he died Sunday, he was talked about everywhere. Knapp was talking about him and about aviation.

Sometimes I feel like a fortune Teller as the last time I saw him in a video I thought then he did not have long for this world. To me they take on a certain look when their time is short as I have seen this many times in different people.

Hope he is in a better place now.

He was certainly a character. I guess I'll never get the answer to the question I put to him years ago, asking where he gets his info from.

We chatted a bit, nothing more, but still... 2022 is making 2021 feel like a warm up exercise.

If this is true it's again sad day in the wild west of ufology.

Going to hold off until an confirmation to offer respects. And instead will over an audio interview Dave Rabbit and I did back in January 2008 on the ATSmix show. I wish I could share the parts we had to edit out (and our conversations after the interview). I can tell you this... I can't ever recall laughing more during an interview as I did on this one.

John Lear was a pilot for Continental Air Services, Inc. (CASI), a Subsidiary of Continental Air Lines which was in existence from 1965 to 1975. It was formed in April 1965 by Continental Airlines at the suggestion of the United States Government. The objective was to provide a "less visible" air transport alternative to the CIA associated “Air America” for the growing Laotian support. Continental Air Services, Inc. (CASI) became operational in September 1965. Their pilots provided contract air support to Unites States Government activities. Continental Air Services, Inc. Ceased operations in 1975. 32 years later, John and his fellow CASI pilots and crew would finally get their just recognition.

last interview i saw of him he did not look like he was in good health

hate him or love him he has a place in a ufology
