their behavior now is Nazi-like.

So its not Nazi like for NATO to be expanding into Eastern Europe that looks like as its like operation Barbarossa in the modern times?

Of course not, lol. How is that nazi-like? Did Hitler wait for invitations before sending his troops into foreign countries?

I'm not sure NATO(for all it's warts) bombs the populace on the way in either..its nothing remotely like Operation Barbarossa. What a ridiculous thing to say.

I think the people of Iraq might disagree...lot of shock and awe there on 7 days of bombing and missile strikes.

And Fox and the like are rootin' for Putin.

I’ve been watching a lot of Fox News lately and they most definitely aren’t “rootin” (which means something completely different in Australia, btw) for Putin.

The way I see it, Putin’s dug himself into a very deep hole and taken the entire country of Russia with him... and at this point, all the propaganda in the world about Nazis and far right extremists isn’t going to get them out of it.

The hole dug by Biden's sanctions will destroy the US dollar and elevate the Ruble to a new reserve currency.

UAE Iran and Venezeula now sell oil for Ruble.

Biden opened Pandora's box and hyperinflation now awaits the US economy.

Democrats are the most undemocratic political party imaginable, dedicated to preening the careers of party insiders willing to provide kickbacks to the Clinton crime family.

If you are a US citizen, your patriotic duty lays in evicting Democrats from Congress in November and demanding reform of the US political system to prevent lobbying of Congress members with financial inducements (ie political bribery)

USA will not get real leadership until the people can elect real leaders, not con-men.

Nothing happens in our country if the politicians don't want it. Anything like war or actual important legislation for them they are all together. Its like WWE they act for the cameras like they oppose each other but they're all buddies behind the scenes. The only time they oppose each other is one things which will divide us...things that are just distractions from the important issues that they work together on top benefit themselves.

I can't argue with that!

I have often compared them to wrestlers, all at the bar after the "show"

It's often the case! I'm sure we would agree on other stuff. I'm friends with all kinds of people with differing opinions, we just agree to disagree, roll our eyes..lol, crack open a beer.

Talking about wrestling, one of my friends who wrestled, in All Star Wrestling, Stampede Wrestling, reffed in WWF, he passed away a few months back. R.I.P. Bob Steele.

I have a pretty different view of wrestling than most people. I have worked for WWE quite a few times...Ive even seen a script from a Monday night raw. I've met a handful of those guys too not just working for them but the school I went to has a deal with WWE to film their Tuesday episode there. So it was common I would run into those guys buying a coffee at the on campus Starbucks. Haven't met one yet who want pleasant to chat with...and they call dress very nicely when not one camera...they look nothing like a wrestler lol.

So let's not be pro-USA or pro-Russia, side with the Ukrainian people or Iraqi people instead. We can look at each war on its own and ask if it's justified or not.

No, I haven't forgotten about Libyan intervention. That's why I oppose the Russia's intervention in Ukraine. BTW, supposedly Putin was obsessed with those videos of Gaddafi getting lynched when it happened, I think it explains some of his fear that led him to this war.

Libya was a stable country targeted by Western intervention and Ukraine was a stable country targeted by Russian intervention. Pretty reckless adventurism in both cases and I don't see Russia achieving success in Ukraine. If Russia was to succeed in Ukraine, it would definitely become a hotbed for decades at least. So let's hope they fail, aye?

NATO is still useful though. In the 90's people thought history was over, but clearly not.

Maybe everyone keeps forgetting how small Russia's economy actually is. Only as big as Spain's. They have gas and oil going for them but Putin has neglected to build industry. Basically he's been exploiting his own nation like it was a colony.

a reply to: RickyD

Well it's easy to force pensioners in a warzone to participate in your propaganda. Or they can just bribe them with food even. Maybe you're being willingly naive about this because you hope Putin will win and make Biden look bad, but I don't think it's worth it.

Intentionally blind to it for propaganda purposes.

In my take, Putin has given Biden a wonderful gift. How many people are focused on Biden now? But, oh yeah, Putin is a "white hat", I keep forgetting. (/sarc)

I can't support the government of ukraine because they support nazis and allow them to commit atrocities on their behalf. It really doesn't matter of we think it is justified or not...Russia did, and now its happening. Nothing you or I felt about it would change a thing. Mostly I feel bad for all the poor old pensioners both in the independent Donbass regions and those who wished to stay in ukraine. Most too poor to go anywhere else...sitting in a war zone no water now food no power no heat...dying for nothing.

Yes I am sure they are forcing all these people en mass to lie for their propaganda. They say Azov forced them to stay and made them human shields. If this isn't true why were they not evacuated? They managed to send buses after the lost mariupol why not before?

Because russians blew up the evacuation trains and busses as they surrounded the town a month ago.

The only way in and out were a few daily helicopter flights to evacuate the seriously injured soldiers and civilians, civilians that you and russian propaganda keep insisting are being used as human shields.

Air ambulance flights that russia attempted to shoot down every day, and finally managed to shoot down 2 of them today after capturing a couple Stingers.

All because russia blew up all the hospitals there long ago, humanitarians that they are.

Only russian forces control who enters or leaves Mariupol.

Has been this way for a month.

Oh so it was all blown up and then once defeated they finally send some buses to the town they have no access to which were detained at a checkpoint. So they had nothing because it was blown up then sent more after the fact when it was surely known it would be held at any russian checkpoint. Sorry not buying it. Seeing what I have from Azov I don't have a hard time at all believing that they shot people trying to leave and used them as shields then shelled them after they were pulling out. Its literally their MO when dealing with any area that voted to seperate from ukraine.
