I saw a ufo a couple of years ago, very strange...

i'm new around here so I apologise if i made this post and shouldn't.
Well some years ago I was in my house in Coimbra, Portugal where I go on vacations, and it somewhere between 10 and 11 pm in August. I was outside my house, this is a country like region, with 3 cousins and we suddenly looked at the sky, it was a beautifull night, and we saw, very near, a disc-shaped Ufo just standing there looking at us. It was quite large and it had a big light in the center and quite some other small lights in all its perimeter. We just stayed looking at it stuned, until we ran to get a camera and 30 secs next it wasn't there anymore.

Was this somekind of an airplane?i really think it was an ufo from outer space.

If you can remember lots of detail you should report the UFO you had seen.
