Lynching now a federal hate crime

Well folks, cancel the lynching you had planned.
Biden signed legislation making lynching a federal hate crime.
Not that murdering someone without a trial isn’t already illegal.
The quote below shows where the name of the bill comes from.

“The bill was named after Till, a 14-year-old Black teenager from Chicago who was abducted, tortured and shot in the head in 1955 after he allegedly whistled at a white woman in a Mississippi store.“

“ Tuskegee University, which tracks the history of lynchings, estimates more than 4,700 people were lynched from 1882 to 1968, the majority of them Black Americans. Lynchings were particularly common in the racially segregated South. Till was one of them. Members of Till's family stood alongside Mr. Biden on Tuesday. ”

1968… I wonder why they stopped counting over 50 years ago?

This news is almost as old as our "president".

Funny how now, the government is focusing on things like 70 year old proposals to make laws banning things that are ALREADY AGAINST THE LAW, and century past due DST changes... instead of spending a moment reflecting on the colossal cluster# they've made in the last few years.

Maybe they think this will help them prevent being lynched when the time comes?

Murder or attempted murder is already law.

Now, hate crimes are law. So the impetous for the above infractions can come into play.

So going forward the nature of implementation in conjunction with the above are also considered.

I motion for this to be duly named "Super-Duper Murder."

With a sentencing guidelines ranging from 5-30 billion consecutive life sentences!!!
