He said "I see dead people!", it's a joke on another movie. I know because a friend of mine used this sentence once in religion class with eyes wide open and a strange intoneage in his voice and got thrown out for it reported to the director.

In German it's "Ich sehe tote Menschen" so not sure about the exact English wording but nothing about white people in that scene.

The original is sixth sense. The little kid says I see dead people. Scary movie is a parody on scream.

In my reality it's the 'Wayans Brothers' and they became famous for that zany British comedy In Living Colour.

I know, that's what I thought it is parody about. It happened right the next day after. I watched the movie with some friends in cinema on a Thursday, around 3pm. I came home with the bus and got the scare of my life because I was about to tell my foster dad about the movie and walked into the garage and stared right at a head over half slaughtered hog.

After that scare, I just told him I watched scary movie. And he was like aahh that old movie still in the theaters? And I was like no it's a new movie.

Next day in school on Friday, 2nd class hour religion before arts, movie was still topic in the breaks. The guy that was with us in the cinema made that comment short after the teacher came in. She was furious and threw him out, I thought back then she took it personal because she is old. He came back around middle of the next lesson and got punished again because he didn't finish his work in time because of that and the art teacher knew about it too.

Please don't tell me if I go look now it says white people, because that would be the 2nd Mandela effect for me. I was also of the opinion that I learned in history class he died in Prison. Still skeptic about the Mandela effect.


Add: I am not making this up btw, I remembered I told someone about it in discord a while ago, nothing to do with this mandela effect here but I just checked 12.02.2022 I wrote about it

It's hard to debunk memory. Some Mandela's for sure can be debunked for certain people, but remembering something so vividly is hard to debunk.

It was "I see dead people" the joke was the way he said it, and propably a nudge to the psychosis inducing properties of Marihuana, Much like your German.

At school it was "wazz uuup" and "I see dead people" for half a year after it hit cinema.

That's actually not bad! I generally do not correct others when they try speak German but I love it every time. I won't correct because of fear of retaliation on my English

But I have to ask, did you engage 4 times with different women before you married your wife? Verlobte means engaged, soon to be your wife, that's why I ask

In case not it would be "Partnerin" partner, or Freundin (girlfriend = meine Freundin "my (female) friend"; normal friend = eine Freundin "a (female) friend")

I've got my sister watching. She thinks it's "I see White people". But then I SUGGESTED Dead people, and she agreed it's "Dead people".

But then like me she couldn't make it out. She even heard "I SEE BREAD PEOPLE" after watcging it.

Ah damn!

And there is also that movie where they put the ashes of a dead guy into a MJ plant pot and he like appears in the car in front of school while he buffs one. Ice Cube? It would fit so nice also because they say right afterwards "that # is awesome".

I must have traversed multiverses somewhere. Maybe collective facepalms on ATS stretched the space time continuum and I fell through. Sure that is the most plausible explanation of all.

I had just watched this a couple of days ago. I found it interesting.
