GTA5 on the PS5

GTA5 online is free on the PS5, and for $10 you can play the story mode. Kind of nice to revisit this game 9 years later. Graphics are not redrawn, the original art is what it is, but better clarity and color. I forgot what a fun game this is.

Trying to fit this is while playing Forbidden West and Star Wars Fallen Order

I have it for PS-3 and PS-4.

Sony PS Plus just sent me an online coupon for $100 usd off the new PS-5.

I've not played in 2 years. But if I do grab a new PS5. I will likely break down out of nostalgia and buy it.

There's a couple members here that used to do the live game. We met up here.

I have recently took up playing this again with a buddy of mine on Xbox One... it truly is a massive game with so much potential fun to be had. Sometimes you need to take the tinfoil off your head and just blow some virtual s*** up to let off some steam, ya know?

It's nearly 10 years old!

Still a great game, try a full play through in first person if you bother with the story mode lol... Me and a few buddies used to get drunk and use a steering wheel whilst driving buses on the weekend, good times!

If you had an old profile for GTA online then you can recover your character across platforms.

Yeah, just interested in story mode, not much of an online player aside from a few MMORPGs. I like playing games myself without relying on others (and vice versa)

PS (unrelated other than it's based off of a video game) Halo the TV series just started yesterday and it's absolutely incredible so far

Halo was pretty good, the opening was brutal.
I never played the game, but I'm a HUGE Red Vs. Blue fan. Very much not the Red vs Blue but really good.

As far as the Grand Theft Auto franchise goes. 6 is only a rumour.

GTA 5 is now as old a game as Mouse Trap, Yahtzee, uno and Pictionary. Pull it out for family fun night at the old folks home.

Does anybody know how to set up Random Mod where others can vote for mods every minute during play.

Looks hilariously chaotic.

Classics remain classics, still a great game.

Speaking of great games, I'm sure it'll be years before we see it, but a new Witcher game is being worked on. Witcher 3 may be the best game I've ever played, or right up there

Never played it. I'll check them out.

I just got Tony Hawk pro skater 1 and 2 for the switch. Great classic! But they had GTA The Ultimate Trilogy. VICE, LIBERTY Los Santos. For 45 dollars I should have grabbed it. Golden eye is redo soon.

My all time still, is Just Cause 2.

No, Rockstar have just recently announced that they’re well underway developing GTA6.

I just hope it’s all worth it... they’ve literally abandoned red dead online to work on it!

This had better not turn out like the last and final "DUKE NUKEM"!!!

I downloaded GT5 and began playing the story mode few days ago. I last played it in 2013 when it first came out, so I do remember most of it, but I forgot how much fun it is, funny too! I've set aside Forbidden West for right now

I reinstalled it for Online after being away since 2019 , quite a lot of new content wich pleases me.

Also runs wonderfull on 4k , above 70 fps.

A lot of modders though

I don't have an internet connection for my xbox360..

But I still break out my sandbox mode gta5 and play the stockmarket simulator from time to time..

I'm talking no patch no updates no mods.

Just play that market..

It almost reminds me of the snes game Wallstreet Kid!

Yeah GTA5 story mode is alright... kinda just makes you wish you were still a 15 year old stoner though, just so you can genuinely appreciate the story.
