Its here!
I purchased this bad boy a little over a month ago.
And last night, she finally arrived - $50,000 in drone and drone hardware all in a beautiful stack of boxes.
I felt like a kid at Christmas opening all this stuff up.

This is a Matrice 300.

The sensor that arrived is an H20T Zenmuse thermal camera and High Definition camera with zoom.
I also have a LiDAR sensor that has yet to arrive.

With all my drones - I have 9 of them now,
I register their call signs and keep track of all their parts for regular maintenance and replacement.
But I ask you ATS, what do you think I should name this bad boy?!

Here are a few pics.

This is the charging station.
I can charge 8 brick sized batteries - I say brick because they weigh at least 1 pound each.
The station can also charge 4 controller batteries at once.

This is the controller.
Touch screen - which is powered off because the battery is charging.

Here are the batteries and a couple of the cases - the sensor and the charge station.

This is the Zenmuse H20T sensor - Thermal and HD Cam

And here she is. Arms are folded awaiting deployment

Arms unfolded

Payload attached

Here is a size comparison vs a Phantom 4 RTK

Sweet rig.

Question: What type of weapons systems will you be equipping?

And that!!!! is why I got the $5000 Enterprise insurance up-sale on it haha.

I can crash that B once a year and get a completely free replacement.
Sensors included.

So if im feeling Talibanish one afternoon, I can slap the thermal cam on it, and kamakazi it right into the mine site headframe.
Ill come back to my office. Let DJI know there's been an accident.
Boom! Daddies got a new bird on the way.
However, If I do it again in the same year, I will have to pay $2000 for my next replacement

I was thinking the 8X Zoom can be quite the "intelligence collection" weapon at the beach.

That's some serious shizz. I just ventured into FPV acrobatic flight, lots of fun. Line of sight, I'm really getting the hang of it, but have to get used to the FPV.

50K?

Ok I'll stick with my DJI MINI 2 for the time being, I have 2.. no sound but it gets the job done.
I understand the work you do, so this Drone should get that National Geographic Society quality.

By chance, does that mean the drones you have; will they appear on the FAA or other databases? And would this make them visible on Flight Apps like PlaneSpotter, Flightradar24 or ADS-B Exchange?

DOES THAT THING HAVE F.L.I.R.?
Edit: it has L.I.D.A.R. too? You going adventuring with Josh Gates to the jungles? 👍🏼😁

Here's a gentleman I follow for tips and what not to do. In this instance, he took a 10k dollar drone and strapped a smaller drone to the botton to get a second camera view. Well they forgot to Turn Off the downward collision sensors, and the 2 drones went straight up together and would NOT descend.

It's a little long, but you can skim through and see the end fiasco.
youtu.be...

I can not wait to see the video quality.

Did you see the videos from a couple weeks ago, The wolves in the field?

They look amazing, and not on this Drone Matrice 300.
