Russian armed forces don't bomb cities... everyone knows that

Just caught this surfing the news channels i get...

I mean... i don't speak russian... and i have no interest in watching the entire hour long video of the "briefing" but... whos bombing Ukraine IF they're not doing it? Its all we see these days... though at least its not covid every two minutes. This is certainly worse...

I don't trust what i see on TV... i don't trust what the media tells us... but theres gotta be some truth to all of this...

Funny though... we live in an age where people can blatantly lie and its accepted

1/3 of the population of Ukraine is Russian. It makes no militaristic sense for Russia to indiscriminately fire on civilians. Civilians who may be friends/family/supportive. The easiest way to see through the fog of war is to watch the actions of the forces involved.

For example all the reports saying the Russians are loosing, stalledout, out of ammo, etc. Yet the Ukrainian government has conscripted it's men to fight, armed prisoners, and begged for a no fly zone. These aren't the actions of the winning side.

That said we shouldn't just believe what the Russian ministry. But if you take into account the actions of the forces on the ground it sounds more plausible than what the Ukraine side is saying. They are after all the side that has produced the most blatantly obvious propaganda since this conflict started.

Military follow the orders of their superiors... so IF they say "aim and fire here" they do it regardless of the target

With this rationale, Russia/USSR causing starvation in the Ukraine killing millions also would have not happened. But we know it did. But that was then, that kind of stuff wouldn’t happen today. Nowadays people are more civil.

The millions of Ukrainian civilians that fled I guess are not wanting Russian love and generosity. Since there is no harm in them staying in Ukraine.

I might be going out on a limb here but is it possible the ukrainians using equipment that russia also has and uses could strike their own population for the cameras and blame it on russians for support against the russians?

Not really...it appears as if you are one of those types who is ignoring the events from 2013 up until current. Is russia invading sure...but its sure not because "putin evil" or even the whole crap about him wanting to "restore the USSR". He invaded because the west was doing corrupt sgit on their doorstep including weapons development in labs as well as puppeting the country. We wouldn't stand by if anyone was doing that to your neighbors on the border...why would they?

The propaganda is needed to gather support for the west to continue puppeting and taking advantage of the corruption in Ukraine. If they let us see it for what it is no one would be behind us supporting this crap.

That's not exactly a like comparison and also a deflection of pretty much they entire reply. Why dont you address the meat of my reply and not an analogy ancillary to it which was meant to illustrate my point. Neat trick though just isnt gonna work on me...

A more apt comparison would be if russia spent 5 billion to have a coup in mexico then installed the new government and also a bunch of secret programs and labs. Had their politicians and kids taking part in fiscal corruption and also mexico had a bunch of nazis allowed to not only be in the government but to attack citizens they had a beef with.

I am unsure if we know the true reason Russia invaded. Your reasoning is as good as people saying that Russia wants to restore the USSR. Maybe that is one reason for some people and your reasoning is reasoning for some people. But whatever the case, killing civilians makes you lose the justification fight very quickly.

But whatever, you’ve made your stance clear. You believe destroying the lives of millions of Ukrainians is just fine, simply because there government was apparently (aka maybe) corrupt.

Mexico is extremely corrupt. The cartels run everything. They drive into town in motorcades surround a neighborhood, storm homes, kidnap people, murder them in public, dump them on the streets with their hands and feet and heads cut off. There is so much disgusting filth going on here you would not believe it.

There you go with the BS again. I never said its just fine. But I did say they had reasons to do so. War is hell and I have been very clear that the ones paying the price for the games if the political elite in both russia and the west have been the Ukrainians and Russians who are actually on the ground. The ones who are responsible aren't losing anything over this but maybe a puppet state.

Appealing to emotion isn't effective in me as I am not every emotional...it just shows me you haven't got a clue or a leg to stand on debating the subject at hand.

I lived in NM for 7 years I am very aware of how it is over the border. Its why I like to use it as a comparison. Its corrupt and full of atrocities kinda like Ukraine...

I mean maybe you are correct...no one really knows unless you can get into the head of putin and actually see his thoughts. But they are saying why and talking about the whole thing....we just don't see it reported in most of our media and they instead insert their own mouth drivel.
