What a great post. I come here very often to look at the news. Some I believe some I do not. But I thank the owner and the mods for all that they do. Free speech is something that doesn't happen much on social media. The voice of the people is very important. Thank you again for your work.

I have been on here since 2009, lurker for years prior. If I can't check ATS daily I PANIC! I was panicking and bugging Djarums to fixxxx it!!!

I was glad I was finally able to log in. I read a lot more than i post. i dont have the time to post like i use to.

I am glad someone bought the site because I was worried it was going to disappear!

I can tell you that it is appreciated by me and many others. They might not always act like they appreciate it, but there are a lot of people here who lose their minds when the site goes down. I would like to suggest an alt domain to give site updates during outages. The alt domain would be on a different server when the main domain and ideally hosted in a different part of the world. A simple example could be:
www . abovetopsecret . net

There was a fair amount of panic and disappointment while the site was down. With no media coverage of it, it was a disappointing few days.

I would say Logic dictates the New Owner is probably a long time Member , someone who is very active on the Boards but wants to remain anonymous .

Think about it if you were a Member and you also owned the site would you want everyone to know it ? No it would kill the mystique of the site .

ATS isn't just a web page or a conspiracy site. We are family... It is my tribe...

To the owners, who ever you are, for what ever reason, thank you for keeping the family together.

Gosh, I’ve been so busy for a few weeks I didn’t notice the site went down. I’ve been on ATS for a Very long time. I still remember their early format, & chat rooms. I loved the chat rooms in the evenings.

Anyway, I can recall a time when it would have been devastating for ATS to go down, for me personally, ... but I weaned myself off of this site around 2010-ish. I still pop in from time to time, I couldn’t have something consuming all of my time anymore, I actually preferred their ancient format. You really felt like family back then before the huge growth took place. Not to mention they stole all of my very, very best friends on here and made Moderators out of them. It takes a lot of the fun out it when all your partners in crime are gone 😉
