All the young men (not to mention all the civilians) who are in this conflict and who are dying is a terrible situation for all concerned . People praying as the bombs and artillery are falling around them which can make a grown man cry for his mamma is not something I would wish upon anyone. A clean head shot is merciful as one moment you are there and the next you are no more; certainly better than being roasted alive in your tank or aircraft..
War in Ukraine...
Don't worry about my safety. I'm already far from the base that was bombed yesterday. I've been there before, but briefly. On this base were its foreign volunteers, among others. Those who died probably never saw Russian soldiers. Such is modern warfare. Still just as dirty, but impersonal.

GRUNT
A colloquialism for infantrymen in the Army and Marine Corps, grunts are the military's door kickers and trigger pullers, in short, they're the pointy end of the spear.
“Grunts” was a common expression used during the Vietnam War as a label for the U.S. military men who were lowest in the hierarchy of those who served.

Let me guess Ukrainian military didn't give him a gun. world's biggest sucker. LOL serves them right, neo fascists.
Mercenairies not being given guns.
I have always viewed snipers as the most cowardly combatants in any war.
