It has become especially fashionable in such circles to insist that NATO's expansion to Russia's border was in no way responsible for the current Ukraine crisis. Many dismiss all arguments to the contrary as "echoing Putin's talking points," "siding with Putin," or circulating Russian propaganda and "disinformation." Leaving aside the ugly miasma of McCarthyism enveloping such allegations, the underlying argument is factually wrong.

Russian leaders and several Western policy experts were warning more than two decades ago that NATO expansion would turn out badly—ending in a new cold war with Russia at best, and a hot one at worst. Obviously, they were not "echoing" Putin or anyone else. George Kennan, the intellectual architect of America's containment policy during the Cold War, perceptively warned in a May 2, 1998 New York Times interview what NATO's move eastward would set in motion. "I think it is the beginning of a new cold war," he stated. "I think the Russians will gradually react quite adversely and it will affect their policies. I think it is a tragic mistake."

NATO provocation is well thought out, They knew what Russia would do. At some stage, they would say enough. The sanctions, are to keep Europe dependent. Russia and China are not playing the NWO game. They need a dose of freedom to get the Rothchilde banking in, to make them dependent as well., to NATO's thinking they are the ones slowing down the plan if they keep Ukraine in the Russian sphere of influence.

That's everything the US Department of Homeland Security says we should be afraid of. Maybe Putin is taking the DHS at their word?

Maybe not the Battalion but the entire Azov movement/ideology is huge and the numbers are only growing. Watch the video to see what they do to get their political goals reached. Like another poster mentioned above the US government has told us these type of people are the biggest threat to our national security, so why couldn't they be the biggest (or one of the biggest) threats to Russias national security? They are and have been a huge threat to the security of ethnic Russian Ukrainians in the Eastern part of Ukraine for 8 years now, taking the lives of many civilians in very barbaric ways.
