This is to be the second front. The Third will be Taiwan.

Is anyone actually paying attention yet?

Please add "Iraq" to your title. Most of us have no clue where ERBIL is.

20 years fighting in the Middle East, pretty sure its a lot less than "most"

here try this

Erbil

Lets hope this is not another attempt to stir up war troubles

I read the thread title and wondered if it was Ukraine.

Are there U.S. bases in Ukraine?..nope!

Maybe time to gtfoo Iraq.

Israel makes Iran mad, so Iran strikes a U.S. asset?

Yup.

For example sake, when were the last 3 dates the base was hit?

You know, for MSM reporting comparisons etc. 😎

I could be wrong but I don't think the media has reported such attacks of that base over the years. In my time over seas they would Mortar or Rocket everyday and we would just take a deep breath and carry on .

Now I'm talking about Mortars and Rockets these are minor compared to actual Guided 1k Missiles

Iran launched a large volley of missiles at a U.S. Base in Iraq, and also shot down a Ukrainian Passenger Jet, in January 2020.

Ukraine get back at Iran for that?

This was iran firing missiles at the U.S. again.

Negotiation tactic would be my guess.

No it wasn't.

This didn't age well.

The IRGC claimed responsibility.

You gotta remember this is theater. Iran's government is trying to look tough with Israel to their people. They don't have the balls to actually fire those missiles into Israel, because they know Israel will retaliate. So they launch at someone that they know will just lay over like a good little cuck, the U.S., with Biden at the helm. They launch at our buildings and then falsely claim they hit some secret Israeli intelligence center. Their people will never know the wiser. Biden will just take it because he's desperate for the new JCPOA.

You forgot Balkan region where things are much more on the brink of war than they were between Ukraine and Russia before the war. And Georgia, where NATO will have an IT military exercises from 20th of March (they confirmed the date just 3 days ago just to piss off Russia). The whole European and Middle Eastern fronts are hot.

Correct. 3 Fronts to contend with.

Europe/Russia
Middle East/Iran
Asia/Taiwan

Sounds a lot like WW2.

New development, or at least first I've heard of it. My emphasis:

A UAV attack in the middle of February reportedly caused major damage to Iran’s drone fleet, prompting Iran to fire missiles this week at a site in Iraq that it claims was an Israeli intelligence base.

Hundreds of drones are assessed to have been destroyed in the attack on an airbase near Kermanshah, in Western Iran, Haaretz reported Tuesday, without citing sources for the extent of the damage.

Apparently someone launched an attack into Iran, which you don't see everyday. This story claims that is why Iran launched the missiles, claiming the attack was launched from the base in Iraq that they hit.

Israel hasn't confirmed anything.

The Lebanese report also claimed that as a result of the missile attack on Erbil, four Israeli officers were killed and seven more injured, four of whom were in a critical condition.

Claim is there were casualties in the Iranian missile strikes, while as far as I know the U.S. is still saying there were no casualties.

Who the hell do we believe? Who knows?
