These hydroelectric power plants are full of dangerous dihydrogen monoxide. The stuff can be responsible for multiple causes of deaths. You will find reservoirs at every plant, some small some big and some are hidden.

Be careful, excessive consumption can cause intoxication leading to death. It is a nasty substance, it is used in all manner of chemical factories and processes, as a solvent, a coolant, and to drive turbines in power plants. It is also used as a torture device, and you can drown in just inches of the stuff. There are even folklore tales that the last apocalypse was caused by it.

It's about the equipment there used to surveil the mess. They lost mains but backup diesel generators turned on automatic.

There is a lot of confusion in this thread, evidently by a lot of people thinking the diesel generators doing their job as planned is somehow ironic or out of line.

Yup, they were definitely using T-80's/90's in the last war, it was the reactive armor and 125MM gun that helped them beat the actual Nazi's.

That's it. Putin doesn't want to inherit a radioactive wasteland. He wants to take over the land intact. What is the point if the land is uninhabitable, and the resources it contains are all contaminated? Zelensky is desperately trying to drag NATO into this war, he is the most crazy one in all of this.

Speaking of reactive armor, I saw a video purportedly from Ukraine that panned across the front of a Russian armored vehicle. On of the reactive armor panels had been pierced by what looked like a 12.7 mm round, pretty much dead center. I wondered if it just failed to explode (I don't know how that could happen) or if some of their reactive armor is fake? I don't know what you would get out of putting fake reactive armor on a vehicle though. Maybe a cost saving measure where every other panel is live?
Maybe the panels are engineered not to explode if they are struck by a lesser round that has no hope of piercing the armor on the vehicle anyway... I don't know.

There's been rumors of shoddy workmanship due to military budgets being skimmed by oligarchs. Maybe some of the reactive plates aren't reactive and just plates.
