I referred to the analogy as it was the easiest way to attack your point. Less than 1 percent is all that it would take. Ahabstar makes a great point, 1 person could disrupt society on a massive level, 1 percent could take advantage of that disruption, and essentially topple the government.

The numbers you are talking would only be necessary if the government declared martial law and begins a cleansing program.

Not sure if that is your premise, maybe you are talking about a foreign invasion. What I am reading... more than 50% of US law enforcement and military would need to quit for a coup to occur in the US. I'm no expert, but I sm pretty sure that law enforcement and military do not quit when a coup de tat occurs

What I am saying is in your infinite assessment and quick judgement of failure, you failed to consider asymmetric warfare. 100 men armed with full auto machine guns are nothing to an A10 Warthog, or an M1 Abrams or a Predator drone. All three are even outdated old technology.

So yes, no civilian uprising is going toe to toe. But…they would not have to go toe to toe. And neither the military nor police are going to stop such out of bounds civilian targets from being destroyed.

That is the point. But the “get bent” comment is something else to consider. I don’t care if you are impressed, dumbstruck, awed, bored or just plain suffering from a mental deficiency. Because honestly, I don’t care about your opinion. Other people out there might take that “get bent” comment personally and show you just what they can bend to your detriment.

I think most people would prefer not to sit in the dark because you got bent by pissing someone off.

If its a literal thing then probably what I am referencing would be how to create an environment for an unprecedented voting event by the People. Something that absolutely HAS to have a simple solution..much like the meteor scenario.Its really not a tactical thought. Sorry it took so long to respond. Im not pessimistic as I don't see the need for something like an insurrection etc. It was really more an 'in your face' look at the whole idea. Ever since I can remember, no one has been satisfied with the Government of the US or the People running it. Maybe at the beginning they were. But I wasn't there.

As several have so eloquently pointed out, it takes very few to do a great deal of harm. Maybe I didn't think it through enough..I just feel like if the problem really required citizen attention then there would be no doubt, not only among the citizenry but our defenders as well. EVERYONE would stand together.

Personally Im not disenfranchised, and can't see anything that could justify the behavior of some of those people at the Capital riot.

When it came on tv I thought it was a joke, I even texted a buddy and was like "Viva la Revolution" as a joke..then as it went on, it went from funny, to a pretty bad tragedy.

Not going to go into the politics part of it.

I think the point of the thread was to challenge the notion that all it takes to take over America is 'The blood of Patriots'.(we hear a lot of this here)
And to point out with logic and numbers that the US is a heck of a lot more than the 'whackos' can even dream of being able to manipulate, much less topple.

I haven't figured out how to fix the percieved problem yet. Some imaginary false flag to get us all on the same page…Ive really tried to put myself in the shoes of the rioters that day..and its pretty disturbing.


I thought of an idea once about a worldwide virtual network of victim tracing..I wish I could explain it the way I see it in my mind..somebody comes up with that and they'll have my attention.like a foolproof way for a victim of anything to be able to pinpoint the perpetrator of the victimization..Somehow it would use scoring and numbers and be accessible anywhere anytime even without an individual device…My conception of this 'system' is truly frightening.
