There are diseases like Alzheimer, the duration of Alzheimer's disease can range from 2 to 20 years, with an average of 12 years. When it is diagnozed late there are less quality years left.
Taking care of alzheimer patient can be very challenging specially for family members. Disease goes through 4 phases from mild to severe. Two last phases are usually when families can´t deal with the situation longer at home, they are tired and depressed.
In Future we can´t just lock elderly up in healthcare facilities because there are no room for them. Do you find any other solution than what is a vision of healthcare.
Alzheimer takes away many abilities you an me take for granted.. ability to walk, eat by your own, everything in every level and aspect of life.
