US/NATO Gang Alliance Doesn't Trust Ukraine With The Secret Handshake

My Sister who is ten months younger than me (Irish twins?) was 'Beaten In' to the American street gang known as the 'Crips' about twenty five years ago. She went by (insert unique street names here) and became a 'Crip Queen' .There is evidently a very involved and violent means of becoming a member of some American street gangs, and getting 'beaten in' is literally what it sounds like, one is surrounded by numerous assailants and forced to survive, and of course it goes without saying that when a woman is involved then so is rape. She later became involved in prostitution, drug trafficking, robbery etc. I guess if You're going to be a bear, be a Grizzly, right? Over time I have had the unique opportunity of meeting various peeps and have learned a few things.

A friend that I acquired at a job was a member of the American street gang 'The Gangsters Disciples' or GD, Also known as the 'Folk Nation' who have recently moved for GD to be known for Growth and Development rather than the Gangsters Disciples. Folk Nation falls beneath the umbrella of the 'Dirty South'.( globalization is the term for the unification of American, Latino and Russian gangs) I spent a lot of time with this friend and he explained to me the entire process for becoming a member of 'The Folk'. Theres supposedly a book that is held in secret that outlines procedure for membership and traditions. Very intricate and old. Probably the most notable item I gathered from our conversations was the use of hand signals and their formations. For the 'Folk' the primary symbol is a pitchfork made with the fingers and hand..takes a bit to master..I am not a member, it was just a cool little technique to learn..carrying on, say a member is under attack, even if that member has a hundred other members around, no one will help unless the member under attack represents the gang by throwing a sign. So in essence they will stand by and watch a fellow member die if he doesn't throw the pitchfork or at least make one heck of an effort to.

So why doesn't US/NATO grant the Ukraine emergency entrance/protection? Only thing I can figure is some sort of communications barrier between the Alliance and the Ukraine? Is it a trust issue? Really? Formalities? Is this the Ukraine getting 'Beaten In' ? Proving themselves to NATO/US? Or is it the risk of mass casualties from nuke conflict outweighs the importance of Ukraines soveriegnty? Needs of the many outweighing the needs of the few or the one. (Spock) Or is Russia actually a strongman for NATO gone rouge?

Sidenote question..Whats more dangerous? A pound of fentanyl aimed at the US from the south or a piece of field artillery?

Cartel means 'Poster', a type of advertisement. One coyote hanging from a fencepost is a 'Cartel'.

The proper term for what You refer to as Cartels (in my opinion) is Groupos Del Drogos y Violencia.

I feel there is a difference in being informed/educated and possessing admiration.

Well, Id say in the world currently a stray artillery shell hitting something NATO-related is much more of an imminent threat than a pound of fentanyl, and Im damn aware of the dangers of fentanyl.

If this is true then I have fear to overcome. Not sure if continued posting is an exercise in just that, or if its making it worse. Im truly grateful for today and everything in it, and desire peace.

Nah,Ukraine ain't getting "beaten in" to be allowed to join NATO.

The reason they are not being rushed into the club is because of the war going back to the unrest which began in 2014.

I believe it is stated in the NATO charter that a country cannot be allowed to join if they are having military exchanges with another country or are invovlved in civil war.

That is so that NATO cannot be called on by a non member to aid in their internal matters.

It sort of makes sense-Its supposedly to prevent things from escalating into a full on NATO vs "insert enemy" situation.

So the question is... do we save Ukraine, send in the calvary and risk global nuclear war and a atomic ice age.

Correct! And the only country that refused to work with Putin is the US. Every other country got Putin to make concessions, but Biden refused to sign off- preferring even mor hardships for the world.
