Just to start some conversation, total hypothetical rhetoric here.

But if a call to arms came from Ukraine, asking for foreign fighters to join the battle - plane ticket to Poland paid then escorted across the boarder, all meals, a firearms crash course or field medic training...
Would you head the call?

What if somehow Russia and China, AND little Kim, brought the fight over here (North America).
And Mother Canada or Father USA, calls upon her sons and daughters to join the fight - head to your local government office to be issued small arms.
Are you taking up the call?
If not, what are your plans?

Are you Booby trapping your property?
Are you preparing for urban warfare on home soil.

Are you bugging out to some place secluded?

Being in Northern Ontario, there are many, many isolated places I can think of as possible bug out locations.
places with pristine water. Dense forests to plunder and make a cabin.

If it came down to it.. im an able bodied man. 39 years young. Spry on my feet - not so much in the sheets.
Get all Red Dawn up in this.

I'm not vaccinated. Joe or the authorities wouldn't let me.

F*ck no! You couldn't pay me enough.

For some reason the price of ammo is up in the US though. Probably because of increased demand.

I'll tell you one thing:
The US has a lot of citizens that are heavily armed and ready to defend their country, lives, families, and property.

I am getting older.
I would have to sit in an elevated location and make use of my .300 Win Mag.

Are you saying we should watch the training movie 'Red Dawn' again? The original version.

I thought we were still in 'Manchurian Candidate' area.

Get a 12 ga.. You can shoot almost anything through that. Just need lots of powder and primers for reloading. I have heard of rebuilding the primers also.

If it was a choice between my sons or myself, I would sign up in an instant.

I'm old and fat but dammit, I'm still mean.

Very true.
Patriotism runs deep and wild in a lot of Americans.

Up until recently, I didnt think Canadians had that sense of pride, but with the protests, that completely changed my mind.

I think if Canada put out a call, there would be a lot of folks taking up arms.

In my opinion , China would side with the US and Canada , against Russia. And I think some middle eastern countries would join forces with Russia.
This is about Putin rightfully opposing a NWO take-over of Russia. Many middle eastern countries are rightfully anti-globalists and so would join Putin.

The globalist heads need to start rolling , we need peace and normalcy back, not a bloody WW3!

Anyone who is getting a military retirement check from Uncle Sam might want to read DOD INSTRUCTION 1352.01

g. Utilization of Retired Military Members.
(1) Categories I and II retired military members who are physically qualified may be identified for potential deployment to positions that must be filled within 30 days after mobilization.
(2) The nature and extent of the mobilization of Category III retirees will be determined by each Military Service, based on the retiree’s military skill and, if applicable, the nature and degree of the retiree’s disability. Category III retirees generally should be deployed to civilian defense jobs upon mobilization, unless they have critical skills or volunteer for specific military jobs.

G.2. DEFINITIONS. Unless otherwise noted, these terms and their definitions are for the purpose of this issuance.
Category I. Non-disability retired military members under 60 years old and who have been retired 5 years or fewer years.
Category II. Non-disability retired military members under 60 years old and who have been retired more than 5 years.
Category III. Retired military members, including those retired for disability or any retired member over 60 years old.

Send me there? No. Until someone sets foot on the ground in a NATO country, however there are plenty who would be doing the fighting rather than myself at that point. I do have a suspicion that certain agencies in the US might ask for some assistance from people like myself when it comes to the cyber sector however. It's no secret that every security company of consequence in the US works with the government in some fashion or another, I just happen to work for the largest by market cap.

I've done business in some fashion with 22 of the top 25. I've been doing it for quite some time and have been involved in responding to state actions from other countries before (e.g., China, Russia, NK, Iran, etc.). So if the government were to conscript us in that capacity (considering the majority of my colleagues are former military, DoD, NSA, DISA, etc.), that would be acceptable.

When it comes to a Red Dawn scenario, I don't live in a particularly high value target area. That being said, there's an awful lot of very well armed folks around here, I could see the response being rather violent. I would do everything that I possibly could remotely to help the cyber effort out and if fighting got to be dire or close, I would be headed to the front lines if they would have me.

HELL NO

Why, because we might have to do that right here!
Like DB if it were me or my kids, of course I’d do it but not
Sure if just lecturing Russian soldiers would be very effective.🤣
