Here's scientific evidence that supports what people who have had Near Death Experiences have been saying.

A first-of-its-kind study captured a man's brain activity the seconds before and after his death.

It found brain patterns linked with memory recall, suggesting people see flashbacks upon death.

It also found brain activity continued for seconds after the heart stopped beating.

Study

What's sad about this study is things like this should have been discovered if it wasn't for a small group of well funded, anti-science professional debunkers and pseudoskeptics.

They ridicule anything that they feel is outside of their beliefs and people become too afraid that they will be mocked and laughed at for taking these things seriously. Of course N.D.E.'s should have been taken serious earlier with very vigorous study. All of these people were't just making it up. You had well respected Doctors who had N.D.E.'s.

A highlight reel of life's memories may flash before your eyes when you die, a first-of-its kind study suggests.

The research, published Tuesday in Frontiers in Aging Neuroscience, describes a man who was connected to brain scans when he suffered a heart attack and died.

The scans, which had never been captured on a dying human before, showed the man experienced the types of brain waves associated with memories, meditation, and dreaming right before — and even about 15 seconds after — his heart stopped beating.

The findings raise questions about when life really ends, and may provide comfort to loved ones of the deceased, lead study author Dr. Ajmal Zemmar, a neurosurgeon now at the University of Louisville, told Insider.

Study

This is the same with with other areas like U.F.O.'s. It's a fact Unidentified Flying Objects exist and has been recorded in our skies since cave drawings. They should have been studied for years as a serious branch of Atmospheric Science. Sadly, these well funded professional debunkers and pseudoskeptics can't separate U.F.O.'s from the ET Hypothesis. So people today are still scared to talk about these things for fear of ridicule. It's shameful and it's an affront to reason and logic. You have U.F.O.'s in your skies that can evade our best planes and cause nukes to malfunction. We study black holes, string theory and fast radio bursts that's far away but we can't take seriously U.F.O.'s that fly in our skies?

Here's more:

The findings square with some anecdotal reports of near-death experiences, in which people say life's most intensely emotional moments replay before their eyes. When someone almost dies, Zemmar said, "the brain may still trigger those responses so that these patients perceive that near-death experience with the replay and everything, but then come back."

Personally, I think everything we label paranormal or psi should be investigated just as seriously as we look into quantum mechanics or relativity. There's overwhelming evidence in these areas and we could find out some things that would have put us 20-40 years ahead of where we are now in terms of technology and scientific understanding if it was for the well funded anti-science professional debunkers and pseudoskeptics.

Life may actually flash before your eyes on death - new study

I saw this myself the other day and within this article it mentioned a previous study on rats with similar observations

But a 2013 study - carried out on healthy rats - may offer a clue. In that analysis, US researchers reported high levels of brainwaves at the point of the death until 30 seconds after the rats' hearts stopped beating

Lets hope its love, serenity and joy that passes through our minds as our soul moves on

The final glimpse of families, the final mental embrace of my soulmate and children

What if the memory it shows you is when you crapped your pants in second grade?

I know this happens. On two occasions i saw the tunnel of light. Both in near drowning situations. Your life flashing before your eyes is more like a montage. Mostly filled with regret fir passing so soon and horrible guilt for the people your passing will abandon. Its a bitter sweet experience. In my case after this montage i git a surge if strength i cant explain and somehow forced myself to the surface. One was in a swimming pool around 12. The other when i was 20 at a place called dana point which surfers have nicknamed killer dana.

Maybe we "upload to the cloud"
A load of D/M/T activatess in our consciousness just before it goes somewhere else..

Seems like there should be a reason for the huge memeory recall many experience.
Something other than just giving us a good feeling while we die-the brain has lots of other ways of doing that without the full memory recall,so I am thinking there are other reasons.

What the study confirmed: the man is really actually definitely dead.

What the study didn't confirm: any form of consciousness exiting the body and sustaining its structure or function independent of biological apparatus, aka "soul".

It's polite to quote the facts in the study and acknowledge any extraneous conjecture as such. Otherwise it could be perceived that you are inserting data and ideas to reinforce a hypothesis unrelated to the exercise. Even without ridicule that attempt would appear transparently lazy and opportunist.

Just a friendly pro science tip, FYI.

Exactly, I heard stories like these.

Synapses firing before, during and fading for minutes after death.

Brain synapse firing little fireworks.

This ties in with many nde and may go someway to proving that life after death is real.

If someone from the other side were to make contact with you just as you die it's only natural that old memories would be triggered.

If a dead friend or relative were to come to greet you'd almost certainly remember thing from your shared past. Which looks like what is shown here.

You'd think that by now science would figure out that personal accounts are a type of observational evidence, and that they are repeated throughout history and across cultures for a reason.

Very good points!

Like I was saying earlier, we would be years ahead of where we are now in studying these things if it wasn't for the well funded, anti-science professional and paid debunkers.

We should have been studying these things seriously and without ridicule.

The EEG showed that, 15 seconds before the patient's heart stopped beating, he experienced high-frequency brainwaves called gamma oscillations, as well as some slower oscillations including theta, delta, alpha, and beta. These patterns are associated with concentration, dreaming, meditating, memory retrieval, and flashbacks, ZME Science reported.

"And surprisingly, after the heart stops pumping blood into the brain, these oscillations keep going," Zemmar told Insider. "So that was extremely surprising for us to see."

Study

I made a thread awhile ago that talked about the scientific studies surrounding vibrations and synchronization:

There's no objective universe all is vibration
www.abovetopsecret.com...

This is important here as we look at the nature of brain oscillations.

I often ask, how can the material brain recall a specific memory or specific information.

How does the material brain initiate recall of a specific memory or specific information? How does the material brain, tell the material brain, it wants the material brain to initiate recall of a specific memory and how does the material brain know why I want to recall that memory at that point? If I recall an experience from the army, how does the material brain know if I want to recall an experience from Ft. Lee or Ft. Campbell and at which point?

Personally, I think this is impossible for the material brain. The brain is like a computer that processes vast amounts of information. You need the immaterial self or an immaterial operating system to operate and navigate the information processed by the brain.

I was in a business meeting not too long ago and I had to recall specific information that I read in a report. How did my material brain initiate the recall of this specific report and the specific information in this report out of all of the information processed by the "material" brain?

This becomes clear when you look at brain oscillations and then you have to ask why Gamma oscillations at death and even after the heart has stopped pumping blood to the brain. These are things we could have known years ago with more open research and less ridicule from the anti-science, still stuck in Plato's cave, well funded debunkers and pseudoskeptics.

Here's how brain oscillations work:

Oscillatory activity in groups of neurons generally arises from feedback connections between the neurons that result in the synchronization of their firing patterns. The interaction between neurons can give rise to oscillations at a different frequency than the firing frequency of individual neurons.

en.wikipedia.org...

So when I recall a specific memory or specific information I need the immaterial self or spirit to initiate and navigate the recall of this information.

There's no mechanism in the material brain that knows what memory or information I want to recall and why. When I recalled the information from the report, I had to initiate recall which knows what neurons need to be activated to recall the memory of the report. When these neurons are activated, oscillations at higher and different frequencies can be created. These higher oscillations that were seen in these experiments even after the heart stopped, then make the immaterial self aware and it displays this specific memory and information. The immaterial self or spirit then searches these memories for the information it's looking for.

Let me repeat that:

There's no mechanism in the material brain that knows what memory or information I want to recall and why. When I recalled the information from the report, I had to initiate recall which knows what neurons need to be activated to recall the memory of the report. When these neurons are activated, oscillations at higher and different frequencies can be created. These higher oscillations that were seen in these experiments even after the heart stopped, then make the immaterial self aware and it displays this specific memory and information. The immaterial self or spirit then searches these memories for the information it's looking for.

This is a good study and there have been a few others but just think how much more we could know in these areas and others if some of our brightest young minds could research and study these areas without ridicule from the professional, well paid debunkers.

There's some kind of mix up somewhere because i know this doesn't mean the brain of a dying subject has never been studied by way of a scan or whatever.
