Things come in 3's , World Wars are no exception.

I Know I'm not the only one thinking this and I'm sure it's been discussed on these forums ad nauseum , but none the less all of the warning signs are there.

The World is a small place and it's getting smaller , At one time the Cold War was enough to keep the chaos of power balanced between USA and Russia but now there is another element at play and that element is China .

A simple look at history will Show that Germany started small first building a Military when the Treaty forbade it and then taking small pieces of neighboring countries calling it land for Germans to live in and then when no one did anything about it they started invading entire countries and even still no one budged , only when Germany finally invaded France did the rest of the World react with force.

All the While in the far east Japan was waging War all through the Pacific taking full advantage of the Chaos.

Russia is going to Push and Push and Push and Joe Biden will do nothing because he can do nothing , and China will most likely take full advantage of the Chaos and invade Taiwan .

And there we have it WW3 , I know everyone wants to think another Global war cant happen but all the warning signs are there and the United States has never been weaker or more vulnerable than what it is right now .

If Russia and China are going to make a move , they are going to do it now.

I guess it depends what you classify as WW3. Is it going to be like WW1 and 2 where people all around the world are fighting in fields over lots of land? That isn’t going to happen. Is it going to be that everyone is going to nuke each other? That isn’t going to happen either.

China has many things on its mind other than getting Taiwan back. It isn’t more important than say its energy crisis right now. Americans barely know where Taiwan is-they’re not going to be gunning to die over it.

Will there be a WW3? Probably. But it won’t be something you’d recognize.

1. India against China
2. A country against Israel ( Iran, comes to mind )


And no, North Korea will never use a nuke against Japan , Guam, Hawaii or the mainland of the USA

Germany and Russia invaded Poland.

War was declared at that point.

Russia invading Ukraine and China invading Taiwan would have nothing to do with energy. I understand where you are coming from, but the future rarely follows logical sequences of events. Because history does not repeat, it just appears that way because you are looking for the similarities. You and the people you listen to are not privy to what is actually going on, so for you to make predictions like you have all the info means this will be another unfulfilled prophesy thread in the ATS vault. There are hundreds and hundreds of them because they do what you're doing.

The reason for wars is to change an opposing political system, by force. I dont think Russia is the agressor, it just wants some peace on a dangerous border.

If Putin gets to a point where he feels like he has no other choice (i.e. in a hypothetical confrontation with NATO wherein he lost a large portion of his forces and defeat was imminent) then I very strongly disagree with you. Will it be a first resort? Nah, I don't think so - but if he strikes and begins to suffer drastic losses to his forces you can bet that he would probably unleash an onslaught of nukes against not just the forces, but the US' country/their allies.

Which is why Putin and China struck a deal on the 4th of February for $118B of oil in addition to their existing 20-year agreement. Also they are supplying something like 100M tonnes of coal to China. I think China will be okay with Russia helping them out, and vice-versa.
