Russian President Vladimir Putin is ordering the Russian military to help maintain peace in eastern Ukraine

www.foxnews.com...

For those who were fooled by Putin thinking this wasn't going to happen I hope you are willing to face reality now. Putin has invaded Ukraine.

Putin has invaded Ukraine

You were hoping that Putin/Russia goes into Kiev. This is about the Eastern Provinces.
South Ossetia would be a example.

Czechoslovakia would be another.

But you're probably not old enough to remember.

Or too blinkered.

Putin has just done what he has been allowed to do. This is all agreed. He takes the Donbas and can claim to have thumbed his nose at NATO and shown the world Russias power. The Weat and NATO can claim that their diplomacy and threats stayed Putin from a full invasion. Everyone wins - or at least those that think they count do, and we all move on.

NATO intervention wouldn't be defensive since Ukraine isn't a member state. And the ramifications of such couldn't be sold as defensive.

What would a war of superpowers do to Ukraine? Far more than Russia taking it without much of a fight.

I have a simple rule as a fighting aged male in good shape. I don't advocate for wars I'm not willing to fight. This has nothing to do with me or mine. And I'm not arrogant enough to tell Ukraine what's best for them just because I come from America. How often have we helped anyone?

Like it was on the back burner the whole time. Not buying it. This is another of the false flags intel has been all a flitter with..possibly. Something as simple as getting things rolling so it looks like the capital is an afterthought. Doesn't really matter wether he gets there by three AM tomorrow or next year..hes aggressing. I hope his obvious doubt In the people of the Ukraines spirit is a gross underestimation and he is viciously embarrassed on the world stage. Maybe the Ukrainians can put aside cultural differences for the moment and keep their country..Putin doesn't think they will.

It would absolutely be defensive, and would be easy to sell. The hard sell would be why we should defend Ukraine.

Putin likely got indications from Macron, that the hold-outs were the UK and the US, and he knows neither Boris nor Joe will do anything militarily.

Commercial air traffic looks normal Poland, Hungary and Turkey all have had flights into Kyiv

Amazing little trackable military flights in Europe, almost like this was all expected and even perhaps negotiated

With how weak Joe and democrats are I wouldn't be surprised. Who was president and VP when they invaded Crimea?

Put Joe Biden aside and ask ourselves if we would fight over this.

Hell, a month ago most of ATS was saying Biden was itching for war and said we shouldn't have one. Yet here we are with no reaction in sight and the tune with some has changed.

Biden is a horrible president. We don't even have to celebrate him doing nothing as an accomplishment, because alas, it's nothing.

But it's a simple question. Is Ukraine our fight or not? Unequivocally, I say no it is not. And the timing couldn't be worse after the failed wars in the Middle East and COVID. We're in debt up to our eyeballs.

Oh how naive of you .

This is exactly how WW2 began , Germany took little bits of this country and little bits of that country and Everyone was like well it's ok let's not start another World War .

And of course Germany just kept pushing and pushing until the inevitable happened , Britain and France declared War .
