Fence going back up around the Capitol

As Biden prepares for his State of the Union speech on March 2nd , He is putting the fences back up around the Capital . What President in history has ever done this . Sounds like they are expecting a Freedom Convoy of our own . This speech I got to hear by putting up a barrier just what does that actually say about the SOTU ?.

It will be normalized eventually, as it will be when they no longer even leave their compounds. They're all effectively ruling in defacto absentia anyway. Why not make it official and wall off the whole thing.

Hope its just their paranoia and not an announcement of anything worse, cause right now things suck for a large chunk of the nation, and with the supply chain still screwed things are probably going to get worse before they improve.

Biden did not win so hes nervous

Put the fence up when it is in full session, then lock the gate. Make sure to collapse any escape tunnels built in the 60s or whatever.

Throw a couple buckets of eel heads over the fence once a week with a few bottles of Flint water to avoid accusations of human rights violations.

Chances are all America’s problems would be solved in short order.

Will Biden even give a State of the Union Address? He didn't last year, and I have my doubt about this year too.

The fences are because "people" are concerned that the Freedom Truckers are going to somehow interfere with the speech.

The President of the USA being drowned out by incessant truck horns would make this state of the union far more watchable than any of the others.

Way back in 2005-2006 there were signs all around DC that were a “line of death” for trucks. Any freight you had was to be unloaded outside that line at a warehouse and then transferred to approved local delivery trucks. Crossing that line was deep, deep, probably gonna be renditioned to Gitmo kind of doo-doo. If it was a missile that hit the Pentagon, your rig ain’t gonna fair as well.

That said, the SOTU would be the perfect time and place for Russia to respond to imposed sanctions. Fencing them in like lambs to the slaughter or a fish trap, has a certain poetic justice vibe to it.

I'm wondering about that. His mental decline is getting worse & worse. Yesterday he just stared blankly when someone asked him about Ukraine.

He's gonna need to borrow Hunter's crack pipe to have any chance at all of making even a 20-minute speech.
