Not sure what Putin was trying to prove yes he showed capabilities but using a nuclear weapon would only destroy Russia you would have to be absolutely mad to launch a nuke . Nuclear weapons are Neil and void only good for absolutely destroying any country involved

Would you like to first talk about the actions of the Western intelligence services to separate Czechoslovakia from the Warsaw Pact?

No, because such a discussion with you would only be a pointless, sterile and forensic waste of my time.

Of course, they wouldn't. The hype is that the exercise could "escalate" situations. I'm not sure how, but that's the "hype."

How interesting!

Russian exercises in Russia escalate the situation.

Placing NATO infrastructure near Russian borders does not escalate the situation.

Propaganda is propaganda... Both sides have theirs. It's rarely true, but just a way to spin public opinion and slant towards your cause. See it can work both ways.

Putin is.

Look how he treats anyone who opposes him.

Like Navalny, for example.

What did Putin say about Navalny that was unacceptable to you?

More like the fact that he put him in a coma with a nerve agent after failing to kill him and then jailed him for not turning up to his kangaroo Court whilst he was in hospital in Germany and etc.

You find that acceptable?

I find it unacceptable that the countries that accuse Russia do not give it any evidence in this case.

Chronology of the situation around Alexey Navalny’s

8 October 2021 16:20

After the emergency hospitalization of Alexey Navalny in Omsk on 20 August 2020, the western media space has been promoting a version of his deliberate poisoning with the aim of neutralizing him as a leader of the Russian non-systemic opposition.

Do you really expect me to believe this blatant propoganda and lies?

He went to a German hospital, otherwise he'd be dead.

I suppose Navalny is not currently incarcerated on trumped up charges, either?
edit on 20-2-2022 by Oldcarpy2 because: (no reason given)

The real problem with the whole affair is that the US war machine has run out of cannon fodder in the Middle East and needs a new venue to shift munitions, weapons etc.

At what point did you see the lie?

Prove the fabrication of the charges and I will agree with you.

What, doing him for not attending Court cos he'd been Novichok'ed and was in a German hospital? That one?

Where did you get that there were such claims against him?

There was another claim against him: he had a written undertaking not to leave, but he appeared in Omsk.

So he broke the law.
