I play mostly online chess against people all over the world, so I know nothing about the other one.

Only when the first move was made the mathematical possibilities can be determined.

Not before the game. I understand what you are trying to convey but that's not game deciding. It's a two player game, each decision will influence the other. If I suddenly decide to switch tactics because I now see all possibilities in mid game, the other one will have a bad day if he thinks "he knows me".

If you play a lot you will notice that you can intimidate others by risking a piece. If you are aggressive enough most will pull back and not strike but retreat in confusion. Then things happen like A7-6 and you know you are inside their head.

I've seen video clips of television subliminal messaging from the 50s and 60s.
In those days, stations would sign off at night and show a short clip of the national anthem. The letters of the anthem would do a little spin animation before settling into place, but just before they did, the words trust your government were shown for a split second.

They do this with our devices these days. From what I understand, some web sites and mobile services use frequencies and light to influence receptors in our brains that make us 'want more'. I don't use Facebook, but it does seem like users get frustrated if their timelines aren't giving them anything new. I've even had people tell me that they smoke more or drink more caffeine when they use social media. I don't use it, but I have noticed that my mood is more relaxed when I take a break from the internet. Wouldn't be surprised if subliminal messaging is pumped into our eye sockets hourly these days.

Well I don't know how old you are but your stupid and delusional. There is subliminal messaging but what you allude to is called (I'll put it in biggie letters so you get it)DIPLOMACY.
It's been going on since time immemorial and will go on as long as 2 humans disagree.

Speaking of Subliminal messages...did anyone else happen to catch a small one at the superbowl, during the performance of (I think it was...) Dr. Dre. He had walked down to the room and right behind his head on the wall was a "portrait" of his head/face. I just happened to look at it while he was singing and it was his face, then morphed for a couple seconds into the Anubis dog head, then back to his face again!

Actually, that was Snoop Dogg. It was a picture of a younger Snoop morphing into a doberman.

I'm not sure but I think that might have originally been in one of Snoop's music videos.
