I could be locked in solitary confinement for six months and I would 100% be able to tell you when it’s a full moon.

Every single time there is a full moon I feel it. It’s not a good feeling either!
I feel ill, I feel achy and I get stuffed up like allergies. I absolutely hate it.
I joke around that I must be part werewolf.

I know I’m not alone. I’ve heard from many people that they also feel weird. I know that people the work in ERs, Nursing homes and even
Teachers all know. Maternity ward, (deep Italian accent) forget about it!!

I don’t have any of the mental side effects, and I also don’t get insomnia because of it, mostly just an ill feeling.

So, are you part of the pack? If so what do you feel?

Lol not a werewolf here and yes, you are not alone with your observation. I was like that. Often thought about if it's just placebo but I think what keeps many awake at night on full moons isn't the light. I know because I had such bad nights even with complete closed blinds and only later getting told "yeah it was a fullmoon night", when I was not tracking the cycles.

For some faith the moon represents fertility and female energy. Since I stopped fighting and ignoring it, I have no trouble sleeping on full moon nights at all. I embrace them even with celebrations. Many of similar faith do, not because they think it's extraordinary or special, because it feels like the right thing to do, somehow.

A physical explanation would be the light messing with our hormone levels, or just generally disturbing us. The silver-white light from a cloud free full moon has something special though. It's all present, as is the full moon above, so that might feel like a presence or being watched.

The best and confident I can describe it is that there is something in the air on full moons. Not like mystical, energy would also be the wrong term. It's best described when you are in the middle of the forest on a full moons night and just observe the scenery. It's a different world.

I've felt sore and achy yesterday and still today, for no real reason. It's not exactly a common thing, but happens every now & then. I've honestly never paid attention whether or not it happens around the full moon, but I might keep that in mind in the future.

We're 60-75% water...so the moon affects us all.

My canines tingle and mouth gets wet at the prospect of a nice big piece of juicy steak.

Don't know if that counts.

I work as a nurse and every evening and night of full moon there is more accidents and delirium on patients, i don´t want to work at those evenings. Those days are very hectic at work. There is more crimes when Moon is full. In Switzerland they made a sleep research where subjects were living in closed windowless indoors for some time without a clock. These subjects had no idea was it day or night but it was found out that in full Moon their sleep was clearly more restless.

Like IAMTAT wrote we are mostly water. Maybe we can feel a tugging or similar. You know, ebb & flood, probably what IAMTAT hinted on.

Then there's the theory of harvest and seeding during full moon. Some plants are in full sap even at night, when they normally give off water vapor, during full moons. Probably because of the light and the plant not going to night mode completely. But one would think after all those million years, plants would have adapted.

Comes to my mind the old stories about how the moon wasn't there always.

My sleep is absolutely wrecked during full moons, a couple nights before and sometimes the night after.

For everyone open minded about this, I suggest geting a ceylon opal / hecatolith aka "Wolfs eye". It's also called "moon stone".

You charge it up in full moon's light it is said but I am not completely agreeing since it contradicts everything else I think to know about gemstones. Just hold it under running water, hand-warm to cleanse it and put it under your pillow for the night.

It's worth a try.
Hecatolith

Add: Love the circular name and it's connection to the tripple Goddess Hecate.

^--- this. Get yourself naked and out meditating. Maybe not in that order but a meditating bath in the moonlight is something to experience once, something special. Don't sit on an ant hill though.

But respect and value nature. We're just guest in the forest, not the owner.

Anything to do with something simple like Menstruation?

The moon has always been messing women up.

Although it never gets the blame.

I’m sure it can be but it’s not in my case.

I'm a werewolf, and I would rather be a werewolf than a vampire allergic to the sunshine. There is a genetic link to what I say, both vampires and werewolves can't eat too much of certain foods but werewolves just get weird if they eat them, they do not get skin reactions like vampires do.

So, I am saying that if I eat too much of certain plant or certain fungus chemistry I get weird. Acute intermittant porphyria genes. HMBS gene which is actually not too uncommon to have double snps in far northern Europe is the cause. Yet they keep telling people to eat more veggies that trigger this gene to cause symptoms to occur. Better than the FETCH genes though, which can cause sensitivity to the sun plus delusional thinking sometimes too. Many of the same types of foods trigger Fetch as do AIP.

So, are they trying to make good people delusional by telling everyone to eat lots of veggies, are they trying to create Cain delusion as noted in the bible by telling certain genetic lines to eat lots of veggies.

Most people with the AIP genetics follow practical familiar eating habits that exclude the trigger foods but now the health experts are telling these people to eat these veggies because they are good for them which can trigger lots of symptoms to occur. Why? Is it for profit of the medical field, or is it to disrupt society.

Yes, I am a werewolf but know how to control it so I do not let the werewolf come out in me. Also, the lunar cycle is also involved in this because we evolved in this world and the moon does effect us to some extent during it's cycle sometimes.

At least I have identified the problem and am working on it, trying to increase my rationality at all times means I have to control my diet. The anti-epileptic meds I took...two thirds of them caused me harm because of the AIP genetics, which I learned about from research back many years ago which is also the reason I got my ancestry genetics done to see if the snps were there...and those HMBS mutations verified what family history showed. Same with the sun intolerance genes and also the condition with bruising my wife has which is a porphyria problem dealing with the iron not bonded strong enough to the hemoglobin in my wife...she bruises very easily.

Most of these conditions can not even be evident if you adjust your diet somewhat.

Being a werewolf and knowing how to control it properly without eating all meat is great because nobody can live on meat alone, we are omnivores and even carnivores eat some veggies to stay healthy. I learned this by watching our outside cats over the years, it is not just before the rain that cats eat grasses, it is just that we were taught that, they grab Rye grass often and some other grasses too. Mostly they like the growth and repair hormone on the sleeve of the grasses, I was taught to pull out the top and suck on that mildly sweet taste on the end when I was a kid on the farm.

Are you refering to menopause?

Don't be so sure it is a switch that operates all the side effects to biologicals off completely.

I gat a strange foreboding just BEFORE a full moon.

I'm a man who deep down has something telling me to RUN!

UG!
