The Grandfather Paradox - TT2022 - Non-writer

Have you ever heard of the grandfather paradox?

I was driving through a busy town. I was in a real hurry, since I had a friend I had to meet on the other side of town, and I was going to be late if I didn't rush.

I was in such a hurry, I didn't see the boy crossing the road.

I went straight into him. I didn't see it coming, he didn't see it coming. Opening the door and stepping out of the car, I knew something was seriously wrong. The last thing I saw was his face before it all faded to black.

That was 1992, that boy was my father and now, I'm here, floating in oblivion, waiting for the universe to decide what to do with me. I guess that wasn't really a grandfather paradox though since it was my father, huh?
