I'v been a raver since the beginning. My local clubs were Shelleys, Entropy, Club Kinetic (best club in the world) and North in the 2000s. Also
Helter Skelter and other all nighters. Still listen to it all now lol.
Fave dj's are Easygroove, DJ Producer, Brisk, Lenny Dee, HMS (r.i.p.), to name as a sample.
I'm mainly into hard techno and hard house.
The first set i ever bought on tape was this awesome set.
I'm not old school, but I dj, and know every type of music style. That's pretty cool drum and bass. I would love to go to that club in Germany and
then forget anything that happened in there. Lol. Bass line music all night would be heaven for me
I'm an old school rave kid from the underground in San Francisco, 1990's. There was a huge underground rave scene in California in the 90's. A lot of
the Burning Man kind of stuff came out of that, merging with the counter culture and hippy movement.
Mars and Mystre were two of the underground leaders in San Francisco, but also had a record store in Seattle and LA too I think.
I used to go these parties. Very old school, real rave vibes from about 8 minutes onwards.
I also however have been to clubs and festivals across the world, from England, Spain, and Sweden to NYC and Japan.
The last underground rave I went to before retiring was an Alice in Wonderland rave in Brooklyn, NYC, on New Years Eve 2012. I did however see a
number of good DJ's and groups since then at clubs, but it's not the same thing (a common misconception). A club isn't a rave.

What clubs were there in Scotland? I only remember Fubar. Also the amazing Fantazia events in the SECC with Carl Cox and Bass Generator in about
1992/3?
Livingston Forum, Rezerction, The bunker they weren't all clubs some just had events but there where loads more clubs. I regret not going to fantazia
at the SECC I watch it 3 or 4 times a year on YouTube. My kids all listen to a lot of the tunes now crazy days.

Some of the sounds in there remind me of the underground raves in south london around the same time. They were my favourite because it was always
informal warehouse space, huge sound, most people went in the clothes they wore to work then went to work after, lol. People of all ages, not uncommon
to see kids and oldies. Felt like family. I got dragged to actual clubs a few times and hated them.
Kind of culture shock when I came back to canada. Though they do have a rave in a gravel pit, miles from here, every few years. I literally fall
asleep with a smile on my face when hearing it for a few days. People who live here always complain about it. My friend lives on the road to the pit,
so next time I'm camping in her yard.
My favourite music ever Funky Desert Breaks Dj John Kelley ...
and Union Jack Two Full Moons and a Trout from 1993
Thanks for that awesome video, perfect tunes, so nice to see smiley mashed faces, everyone doing their own style of dance, no phones, a perfect
example of back in the day all havin a blast with no fcks given.
