So, back in 2015, Vox ran a very interesting story that posited that a nuclear conflict between NATO and Russia was actually closer to a reality than anyone believed in a post-Cold War society.

The reasons it gives are numerous and fascinating, including a Russian military doctrine of pre-emptive use of a tactical nuke to DEESCALATE a worldwide conflict (talk about an oxymoron). But perhaps what is frightening is what analysts say is the most likely scenario that will lead to conflict between the superpowers.

Yep, you guessed it. A Russian invasion of the Ukraine.

There will be no war with Russia. The only one that thinks that is the US.

I sincerely hope you're right. I think we've done enough with the mess that's gone on the previous couple of decades. If you're wrong though, it's gonna get uglier than most of us have ever seen.

Your use of "long suspected" and a 7 year timeline, makes me feel old. To me, that equates to a few years ago... Thanks

So let me ask you all this;

Who do you think would be the first to launch a (tactical?) nuclear strike if things got nasty in Ukraine, Biden or Putin?

Now, given your answer to that question, who do you think should be the first to capitulate to the other?

I'm just wondering how many Americans actually care if Russia invades Ukraine. I know that I don't. I honestly don't believe that the American people have an appetite for a war over Ukraine. Tell me, am I right, or do any of you actually care if Russia invades them?

Most Russian analysts say Putin wants more than Ukraine, and he's probably working with Eleven (Xi) of China.

I always suspected it would be another nation in the middle east, beginning with I and ending with srael that would be the nation that launched the first nuke. Failing that, definitely the US committing a false flag attack.

I really hope it never comes to it, but with the way things are going around the world I think it's inevitable at this point. It's more than just what is happening in Ukraine, it's more than just the threat of Biden's dirty secrets being leaked. It's because people are waking up and standing their ground. They want to punish us for daring to be human beings and not cattle. A major war will give them the excuse to declare absolute powers over us all, making the covid restrictions seem like paradise in comparison. Not to mention all those people able to protest will be conscripted to fight and die so these psychopaths and sociopaths can get even more excessively rich.

As an oil futures trader I'd love that price also, but of course not
for the same reasons.

I suspect those who give any credence to the prospect of war
are very young people who have yet to recognize the art of
geopolitical theater.

I'd love to meet the smartest man alive. I'd ask him..
Dear Sir, why do so many people believe the teleprompter machine?

What in anything Putin has done as leader of Russia leads you to believe he plays political theater?

They won't start a nuke war over Ukraine. It's about the slow march of any Russian aggression not only on Ukraine but other vulnerable states and particularly NATO states. That is the red line for the west.

As an analogy to WWII: the red line with Hitler was his invasion of Poland after he first took Austria in the Anschluss, then Germany occupied the Sudetenland, then he destroyed Czechoslovakia then invaded Poland, which started the second world war.

In this case one can correlate what Putin is doing with what Hitler did to Austria by forcibly uniting it with Germany, (Putin taking of Crimea in 2014) then claiming the Germans in the Sudetenland were being oppressed (Putin’s claim that the Russians in Eastern Ukraine are being oppressed, is one of the reasons he gives for the military buildup on Ukraine’s borders) so Hitler took that land( the Sudetenland) then said Czechoslovakia wasn’t even a real country among other gripes and then did a false flag in Poland to start that invasion.

So right now, on the WWII Hitler analogy meter were at the time Hitler took the Sudetenland claiming Germans were being oppressed.

But today the Poland invasion that started WWII is Putin attacking any NATO state. Then we have a serious problem.

The U.S. is preparing to evacuate its Ukraine embassy.

apnews.com...

I thought the Biden Admin told every American to get out of Ukraine, 2 or 3 times this week.

Is the Embassy not composed of American citizens?

Why would Russia want more land it is vast and underpopulated and full of resources. Constantly under pressure from the West with missiles on its border. It is keeping Europe warm with fair-priced Natural Gas and has vast oil reserves. The people live good lives, and the essentials are reasonably priced. the culture is strong with affordable health care for all. People are actually emigrating there. While the West is voluntarily committing suicide. With Rothchilde muppets for leaders no doubt there will be a War some time. But I doubt it will be with Russia. They would have to be provoked beyond reason to retaliate.

No, I don't think Russia-Ukraine leads directly to "WW 3."

It's just another chapter.

The real action is China - Taiwan / USA. But that is later this decade.

Russia doesn't have prom queen syndrome with a touch of Carrie on the side.

That would be China.

The Olympics are like prom night but instead of there being a crowning moment something got lost in translation and it has devolved into a clowning moment, or a corona moment.

China craves respect and or fear.

Russia is a threat to pro globalists only.

The most prominent representatives being from the democrats Hillary, Biden etc.

Treat Russia with respect and respect will be mutual.

Treat China with respect and they will steamroller on regardless. They show up to the race believing that it is their right to win and that the actual competition is merely a formality. However an athlete does not own the race officials as they are above the competition.

That would be the bankers. And their little inside joke of letting the Chinese believe that they could ever be prom queen.

Carrie moment incoming where ultimately they will be put down like a rabid dog.

The 4th industrial revolution will see the Chinese exposed and left behind clinging to an archaic version of the future because they aren't leaders of any sort, they can only copy and steal.

The Chinese leadership are blind to all this because they thrive on flattery and fake tributes.

The moment a resistance, or even a difference of opinion gains mainstream in China we will see how fragile they really are.

Remember that one guy that stood in front of the tanks?

The chinese live in a glass house, and they love pelting the rest of the world with pebbles.

A people that fear their government while the government is secretly afraid of their people is a recipe for disaster.

A system the democrats are implementing in the US as we speak.

I have a gut feeling that this Ukraine thing plastered on the msm is a distraction of what the real story is. What ever happened about the China-Taiwan thing? Sure is quiet on the news lately.

China is cautious.

They will assure their Russian comrades of their support while watching Russia make its moves first. If(when) Russia makes a move into Ukraine, China will hold back any "aggressive" moves against its neighbors until it determines that Russia is likely to succeed in its efforts; to do otherwise would be to risk the wraith of an opposing force already armed and fresh with the scent of victory.
