This just got even more crazy

Theres a lot of us who just say stupid things online, and think nothing more of it.

Then there are smart folks, who use VPNs to protect their identities, False profile names, etc, etc. And then they say stupid things.
And what if your not even saying anything bad, but rather offering support to something you believe in?

I always thought that was a bit extreme.... well that was until 80 minutes ago.

You all know about the freedom convoy in Ottawa and other protests in smaller numbers popping up locally.

Well this young woman In Peterborough Ontario, belonged to a Freedom Convoy support group.
And look who shows up at her front door to "Provide some information on Peaceful Protesting"
None other than Canadas Provincial Police!
Admitting that they are monitoring facebook groups and proactively going to the members of those groups, homes to provide some wonderful reading material.

This is insane. 100% draconian INSANE!!!

How would you guys had handled this situation?

Agreed, but expected in 2022.

I honestly think somebody took screenshots and reported her. I don't believe for one minute that they are monitoring those groups to that extent. But even in the groups I'm in there are constantly trolls getting in and reporting posts so this isn't much of a stretch. She needs more to analyse her circle of confidence. Just my 2 cents.

Being of a sound (?) conspiracy mind, I'm sure every comment and every 'click' I make online is being cataloged somewhere, most likely the 'Intelligence Community Comprehensive National Cybersecurity Initiative Data Center' in Utah. You don't hear much about them anymore, nor Google's huge, mysterious offshore data center.

Also, we all still want privacy. Being a patriot is irrelevant to that.
Also, if you hate your country you are free to leave. Maybe check out NK or China.

It would seem that "law abiding" and "patriot" are being driven in opposing directions in these modern times... patriotism hasn't changed, so the driving force behind that division can only be found in the fascists making and changing the laws.
