just saw an Opel Astra that is very similar.

I agree! I came back to write exactly this!

+ The rear lights are really a bit rounder and it would fit better
+ The front lights fit better, notice the Astra front lights indeed to have such a curve like the reflection in the original
+ There are similar Astra rims on photos visible that could fit to the original photo.

+- licencs plate location, roof line are the same as LEON also
- The plateau at the rear above the licence plate and the curves upward around the hatch fit better to a LEON though IMHO

If I could only enhance the rear side windows enough to get the shape of the rear side window!

Start with common 4 door hatchbacks in Denmark.
From cheap rentals to...

I first thought Astra too but the tail lights are too thick on an Astra. I think you nailed it with the Seat.

Have you Put that photo of the car into Google lens?

It might tell you what kind of car.

Notice the license plate tilt on the LEON and IBIZA, it fits better than ASTRA.

Most things fit about the Leon yes, but I could not find one where the rear door section fits.

There are ASTRA with front lights that fit better although the complete rear looks like a SEAT Leon ST with a hook. It's like two cars in one photo, maybe it's just the front reflection that throws me off too.

That's frustrating, I thought I had a clear answer, now not so sure.

Lol, I thought that too.

I think I stared at it too long.

The thing is, there are different versions out there where the section between the hatch and the front doors is different.

Some LEON have a third window behind the rear windows, some not. What mostly throws me off is the rear door, open my picture and look there is a slight curve on the rear door windows. It fits better to that older silver Astra. I am no Opel/Vauxhall expert and almost each year there are some changes to all models.

But if police reads this, maybe contact Seat and Opel and show them the picture?.

Maybe a Toyota Yaris 2013 model or the 2014 hybrid. Similar shape . I Also think the distance from the back wheel to the boot is a close match. The Leon looks longer. Can't seem to get the Yaris photo linked. a reply to:Spacespider[/post]

Agreed about the similar shape but I found no Yaris that has the back license plate under the hatch, with a plateau above it and tilted up. All I found had it on the hatch itself.

The rear door line would fit though!

The tail lights are different than an 08 Kia Spectra hatch back. They are more similar to the alfalfa Romeo mentioned by wide-eyed. However, there are other hatchbacks with similar tail lights.

Prayers for her and her family, I hope this young lady is found safe but the more time passes the less likely that is to happen.

Looks like it could be an older model Astra (Vauxhall or Opel) though it also has similarity's to several cars such as the last circa 2010 model 1 series BMW hatch and given it is moving it is hard to really say though both of these models have the wrong shape to there headlights so it is more likely to be one of the models listed above.

This is a growing problem for the police when cars from different manufacturers are basically clones of one another making it harder to identify the brand and model.

But please God this Girl get's home safe to her family.

(Deleted the rest of this I was trying to be of help but could not be, it's the low back number plate, shape of the rear and front side lights that is hard to match up, perhaps an older model, wheels look to be alloy's though it's a moving car and dark).

Bergen the three it is definitely closest to the Ibiza. It's the tail lights for me, but there are noticeable differences. They might be explained away by year model. The rear bumper is one key difference

A dark colored 08 kia spectra maybe.

Notice the bump out on the read bumper.
This picture actually helps limit the models of 4dr hatchbacks.
A couple identifiable things stand out to me.
-The body line at window bottoms are pretty flat, traveling length of car into trunk window, making it have a weird looking, small hatchback door panel above the bumper.
-The bottom of the bumper has an obvious flare out to it..like the spectra
-The rear hatchback window is at a 45 degree angle
-lights look similar too

But does it not look like the number plates are much lower on the "unknown" car then the spectra. And perhaps the unknown car is missing that lip back spoiler at top ?

Yeah, saw that...those spoilers come off. Good catch on the plate location. I missed that
