Jesse Jackson Appealing To Florida Congresspeople To Overturn Vote On Schaivo

Well, I haven't seen it on here yet. I want to know what people's take is on this. Jesse Jackson is trying to save Terri Schaivo's life, too. Yet, no one on the left seems to be talking about this. Why not? What do you think of Jesse siding with the conservatives?

Personally, I was shocked. Jackson, in my eyes, was a hard core party liner. Now, seing him deviate from that, I have to reassess his character. While I disagree with 99.9999% of what he says, I'm starting to think he really believes all of it, rather than compromising his values on occasion to make his political party happy. That's a lot more than I can say about Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity...

Jesse Jackson doesn't do anything for a reason, he is a very calculated man, and his present and voice comes with a price.

Perhaps he is trying to cover the fact that he has publicly taken sides with the controversial trial of Michael Jackson and believe his Innocent, but things are not looking good for Jackson allegations right now.

So what else but to bring a distraction to the pro-life circus in Florida, is not like he got something to lose at the end.

And again can we forget that Jesse loves media attention, who knows he is just taking advantage to get himself some free media exposure.

You may have been shocked to see him, but in my case I was wondering when he was going to make his present know.

Jackson is a political wh*%# and always has been. The man has more baggage than a freight train.

Religion has been abused from the beginning (long before Christ) and still is. Scoundrels use whatever platform they have. Jackson's prescience only reinforces the wrongness of the entire Schiavo escapade.

Will Jackson be bedside for Falwell too?

For me, the Schiavo case is more about the government trying to overstep it's bounds and interfere in a private matter it has no business being involved in...not right or left.

Unfortunately, politicians have gotten involved to make it more about right-to-life vs. choice.

I could care less who comes out for one side or the other in this issue...but I do care about this case being used to set precedents for the government to impede on the rights of the individual and for circumventing the law.

Too little too late. Shakedown Jackson should have gotten
started two weeks ago. To re-insert the feeding tube now
would be mean.

It is kind of funny to see the Conserative talk shows treating him like best friends when on any other issue he would be treated like a third rate con-man (which IMO he is)

The same ones that snickered every time they said his name a couple weeks ago are now singing his praises....lol

I don't know Marg, maybe Jesse's trying to do the right thing here....maybe theres some humanity left in him. Usually he disgusts me, but I think he took a stand here against the death-lovers and I applaud him for it.

I would hope he does'nt have any political motive when a innocent womans life is on the line..

Hey I like Jesse very much too, I like the way he steals the camera when the situation is right, and he can profit from it.

Lets not forget that money is a powerful tool when it comes with tragic situations like the Terri's case.

Its a lot of money moving around with all the groups camping in Florida for "Terri's right to live"

Like I said, I would Hope he would not take advantage of a fragile womans life. I know he is a greedy scumbag and a POS, but Im hoping he is doing this for the right reasons.
