So much going Canada.Ukraine and the continuing Rand Paul vs Anthony Fauci. Not that the hearings are Ali/Frazier 2022, still Rand Paul isn't backing off and is pretty tenacious while little Anthony is a weasely lil bastard himself. Still, Paul had more hits than misses, and I didn't know about the guy in Iowa heading to DC, as I learned from a Fauci counter punch.

Didn't see this anywhere else and wasn't sure where to put it, but it's definitely madness with a double helping of Politics

but I am interested in ATS's thoughts is there a chance he gets ousted? is this just all theater?

Mr Paul is growing on me, one of the very few honest politicians throughout this debacle.

NOTHING he just stated can be argued with, nought.

Still, better treatment of Fauci than what he deserves or what i would personally grant him. The gallows, plain and simple, true justice for this monstrous cretin, nothing short of which will satisfy me.

Rand Paul has promised a thorough to hold Dr. Flip-Flop accountable if the GOP gains the majority in the mid terms. He really seems to have a great deal of loathing for the 'good' doctor.

Fauci is responsible for uncountable deaths yet his only retort was a self absorbed narrative on how these hearings jeopardise his safety. His gall to suggest his life has been endangered by senator Paul's accusations while he supports mandates to suppress a virus he is personally responsible for developing is simply outrageous. I can't express how much i hate this man.

If we had a media, this charade would be over. Rand Paul can grill him but unless mainstream media writes stories and corroborates all this information, nothing is going to happen.

Rand Paul is one of those who meant it, when he vowed to put together a commission to get to the bottom of why Covid-19 caused so much anguish within America's political, business, economic, and education systems.

This core group of Congressmen have also vowed to impeach Biden, find out who organized the "election fraud organization" in 2020, and Pelosi's undercover efforts to make Jan 6th a riot, instead of a peaceful protest. (She's not letting anyone see the important documents.)

What I'd really like to know is why Congress is not calling the heads of Pfizer and Moderna pharmaceutical companies, and asking them hard questions.

They lied more than Fauci, in ways that have killed more people than Fauci. They can't be sued, and data on vaccine enabled and induced sicknesses, are being kept private!

As soon as he opens his mouth his Tone imparts factual assurance and his word usage is that of a Victim .

I'll be honest he isn't the only one to blame plenty of failure to go around, Trump listened to him or his advisors said listen to him, but the Congress the Senate, and hell most of the governors went along with it. Yes Fauci convinced everybody it was gonna hit hard, hell he may even have believed it himself at first but after 4-6 weeks he wasn't gonna back off, no matter what by that time he had politicians advising him.

As for Fauci's fate Id bet it's getting close to being determined in some back-channel discussions here and there. That said Id bet there is no criminal charges, not because he doesn't deserve them, but I think it will be part of some deal, Fauci's ousted Trump catches some flak, Biden and some Dems catch some serious flak maybe a few hardline governors.

Ultimately it's like I've seen mentioned the last thing this country needs is some long drawn out trial or waiting for one. Because we are after all civilized he will need representation and the witness list itself could be some of the highest leaders in both parties, all I can see is it costing fortune lasting months if not years, and in the end, we'd be in the same place as if we just did minimal punishment.

And well deserved. Fauci et. al funded illegal gain of function research through Ecohealth in the Wuhan Lab. The same lab studying coronaviruses and next to the wet market supposedly it escaped from...

Yes, but that's how some of these sociopaths rise farther than others. They are able to play the game, including their acting as concerned, ethical professsionals, better than many lower on the totem pole.

I had to go back and correct my quote, sorry about that. What Fauci said was that he was not to be blamed for the current pandemic. Why did he stress the "Current Pandemic" part? What should he be blamed for, I wonder if this statement has more to do with the fact that it started out as the SARS Corona Type-2 outbreak, then was changed to Covid-19 and now is just "COVID"? It's like he makes himself innocent through wordplay.

Fauci is intelligent and he has nothing to lose, unless he is given an out he won't ever give up the pandemic ghost. It was kind of pathetic where he said and I paraphrase this is a waste of time we should be deciding how to deal with this continuing pandemic. Part of me was like you had your shot there buckaroo, time for a different approach

and for what it's worth he may very well believe he is correct was correct and continues to be correct. That's why Paul needs to drill him, I don't think there is any other person that perhaps breakthrough Fauci's illusions. We have to remember he took a hard hit during the AIDS epidemic, he might have thought here is how he redeemed himself in the twilight of his career. Ala his career is Fauci's identity regardless of how it got where he was the COVID Czar instead of at least part of a committee that's partial on Trump even though Dr. Birx was there for a while.
