Just almost impossible for me to imagine what is going on down under! Beyond the anger, it's just extremely sad to see a government so drunk on power they will stop at nothing to maintain their control.

I honestly never thought I would see that in my lifetime. And to be clear what I mean by that is, there have been lots of tyrannical governments in power during my lifetime, but one by one they've been going away. What I never thought I would see is new ones cropping up in previously civilized and develped nations...and that's what we're seeing. We're seeing it with our brothers down in Australia, and our brothers in Canada, or brothers in Europe and we're seeing it right here at home. Some of these places may not be as extreme as others, but it's happening, and it's happening just about all over the civilized world. I really have a hard time wrapping my head around this from a sociological perspective

No good can come from ultimate power like that. A demoralized civilization will not flourish under those conditions. On the contrary, it will only wither and die.

The timing does make sense though...somewhat. Many of the countries where this is happening still have people capable of working, they haven't given up on life yet. These maniac monsters are capitalizing on apathy; they're counting on people being demoralized "just" enough not to fight back, but still having enough spirit left to be productive worker bees. **SMH**

What we are seeing is the ultimate manifestation of both greed and manipulation for maximum profitability. Worse than being just simply controlled, people, you are being optimized for maximum productivity and minimum resistance! And the downward death-spiral will continue until people start standing up and saying "NO MORE!" and fighting!

Again, I never thought I would see a day when so much pressure could be applied to the civilized populace with absolutely ZERO measurable resistance.

Gawd help us! (and "Gawd" is spelled that way intentionally. No "God" can help mankind out of this mess. He created it himself, and only man can reach deeply inside and find that inner "Gawd" to stand up and say "I will NOT sit down...no, YOU will sit down...and if you refuse, you will be DESTROYED!"

That absolute sadness here is that these people, the police and such, are supposed to protect and serve the people. They are your brothers and sisters, but they have turned against you. THAT is a sad thing.

Yup, seems to be a direct strategy being implemented - go for the young, the old, the disabled - rile the crowd up by manhandling them, then BOOM we have a pretext for the protestors turning violent, we can storm in & arrest everyone, throw them in a dark hole & home for ice cream & champagne.
