Id rather not eat steak than eat golden corral steak.

when I saw that I just shook my head, I would wager there is a butcher shop/Meat market somewhere in there vicinity that carries much better cuts of meat.

Golden Corral is not really very good at all, and I would have to be very hungry to fight over it.

LOL, we were extremely silly, well the 3 of us being silly would always do a low "moo" under our voices as we walked down the line.

My Sister and I were at the vet today. The doctor required mask and was a low talker. I'm very hard of hearing and depend greatly on Lip Reading.

Not sure the steak was the entire issue.

There's the principal of the thing. A (and I say this loosely) restaurant running a special to draw patrons in then blindsiding them with "Oh yeah, not for you!"

I actually like a decent buffet, but GC is the dregs. Had to gas up one time at a casino with a camper. Sign said "free hotdog with every fill-up". So I got my astronomical gas receipt and went to collect. Half a mile later past every game imaginable I finally got to the correct food counter for it.

A casino worker had no problem telling me & a bunch more that "Dogs were in the steamer and wouldn't be done for 20min. As she stood right in front of a microwave. The group of gentlemen waiting just stood around looking dejected.
Yeah, nope. Told her to slam mine in the microwave with my best "Resting B****" face.

Screw the casino hotdog! It was the principal of the thing having to traipse over acres of crappy commercial carpet then find out a 99 dog wasn't happening.

I was so pissed I fed it to our dog.
But damned if I was leaving without my free casino souvenir!!!!

So screw GC, but definitely am fine with the patrons making their point.

When I saw this headline my first thought was "black people".

Its the exact same thing I thought the last few times I saw a headline about a stupid riot or massive brawl in a public place over nothing. The ones at the shopping malls, the airport, the high school basketball game, all of them.

But the thing is, I was right every single time. Does that make me racist or observant? Or am I racist for telling the truth?

Edit: when I say "all of them", I mean all the ones I saw headlines for, not all that happened. I don't see ALL of them...

The wine list at Golden Corral is limited, but you can't expect fancy eatin' like Country Kitchen!

I went to the Golden Corral once, I really was not that impressed. It was all right but nothing to brag about. I chose to eat the chicken at the buffet, had a little beef but wasn't that impressed with it. I think that they charged for a second trip to the buffet there when we were there, but it wasn't that much extra.

I prefer a good oriental buffet, I like seafood the best if I go out to eat, we have good beef at home.

Yea the food sucks, but my girls and I still talk about and laugh about how many times we went there 20 years later, we would basically do homework and stay there the whole time.

Haha! Yeah, my kids thought it was a treat to go there too, I hated the place. we went there maybe once every year. My wife got food poisoning off the fish soup, I warned her, never been back since.

I can see people getting all wound up on steak night if they paid for something run out. Has anyone seen the prices? It was not cheap!

Im serious we went there virtually every week for dinner for almost a year till they moved, I hated the smell of the place.

I went to a Golden Corral once in North Carolina outside Raleigh. Was there for my wife's grandfather's funeral, it was the only place open that Sunday night and the family all sat eating our all you can eat stake all dressed up in our suits and fancy dresses.

Luckily their was enough stake and no fights broke out; the crowd looked like it could fight if it had too. It was funny though how they all started clear of us as if we were crazy.

I don't remember the food being bad for an all you can eat buffet.
