The same DOJ that wants to go lenient on an arsonist who killed a man because "he [the arsonist] was protesting".

I think Dominion is worried because if they lose their business is toast. Throws the entire 2020 election integrity into question. And then it begs the question.

DID BIDEN ACTUALLY LOSE IN 2020? And. WHAT IF TRUMP WAS RIGHT ABOUT THE 2020 ELECTION ALL ALONG?

How can you void a illegal Presidency? Does everything that happened during the Biden Presidency wind up void? And considering all the Biden messes does any Democrat in Washington DC now survive the year that disaster happens?

In a just world the Army at that point would declare Martial Law and arrest Biden and the Democrat leadership for the coup they perpetrated. And then a mass execution would happen on Capital Hill. Televised to the world.

Nah, I think it was 'Murica circa January 6th, 2020. I might be off on the date by a second or two but from what I can recall that's when some geniuses, a few dressed as animals, were yelling stuff like that.

Yeah, Jan. 6 would have been so much better if those people had just torched a few buildings instead of yelling mean things. You know, a "mostly peaceful" protest.

Or they could have just taken over a section of DC and kicked the police out. Call it, I don't know, Chaz East?

Yeah, and the best part? The 'law and order party' (LOL) was in charge when this all went down. Talk about sucking at what you do.

Mike Lindell would have to bring one of the machines into the courtroom and show that it can be hacked,

Mike won't have to ... Maybe this is the reason they are frighten, a judge with held proof that they could be hacked.
Should this Obama appointed judge be removed for withholding evidence that could be used in this lawsuits?

Judge Wonā€™t Budge as Voting Machine Report Fuels Conspiracies
Thu, January 27, 2022

U.S. District Judge Amy Totenberg appointed judge by President Obama* has boxed herself into a dilemma.

She has kept a report on a theoretical voting machine flaw **ā€”authored by a respected computer researcherā€”secret since last summer, citing concerns that releasing the report would fuel conspiracy theories about voting machines and the 2020 U.S. presidential election. (...)

(...)ā€œIā€™m unhappy about the course of political treatment of the reportā€¦ itā€™s out of hand,ā€ a clearly frustrated Totenberg said in court Thursday. ā€œBut Iā€™m not going to release it without seeing what is being proposed with redactions. ā€ (...)

(...) Many want to see what, exactly, Michigan computer science professor J. Alex Halderman found that led him to conclude that a non-technical person could spend a few minutes in a voting booth and change how a particular machine tallies votes.

(...) Totenberg has for months insisted that the 25,000-word report remain ā€œattorneyā€™s eyes onlyā€ and had resisted Haldermanā€™s own request to make public a redacted version of the report to allow the voting machine manufacturer to fix any flaws.

Halderman has wanted to release a redacted version of the report that would not serve as a blueprint for would-be hackers, but Thursday was the first time Raffensperger supported that move.

The documentā€™s release wouldnā€™t just be relevant for the ongoing court case and Raffensberger; the machines in question that may have the theoretical vulnerability are also in use in various jurisdictions in multiple states around the country, some of which have expressed interest in receiving more information about the alleged flaws. Some of the states are holding elections this year. (...)

(...)Although its attorneys had access, Dominion itself had been blocked from viewing the report for months, but two sources familiar with the court case told The Daily Beast that the company obtained Haldermanā€™s findings in December. The company did not immediately confirm that on Thursday afternoon.

In a statement issued alongside the Georgia secretary of state, Dominion CEO John Poulus attacked Haldermanā€™s review. ā€œDominion supports all efforts to bring real facts and evidence forward to defend the integrity of our machines and the credibility of Georgiaā€™s elections,ā€ he said.

In court on Thursday, David Cross, an attorney for the voting rights activists who commissioned the report and are seeking to replace the stateā€™s voting machines, said that thereā€™s now another reason to make this report public.

ā€œAs long as this report stays sealedā€¦ itā€™s hurting Dr. Haldermanā€™s professional integrity,ā€ he said.(...)

Are you expecting me to defend the Republicans?

The only thing they have going for them right now is they aren't as bat-crap crazy as the Democrats. But if they want my open support they need to get off their lazy butts and start doing something besides complaining.

I support people who have the intestinal fortitude to do what needs doing. To HELL with the party politics.

Seeking guidance from ATS members who understand our (U.S.) legal system.

Dominion Software Company sued Mike Lindell (owner of MyPillow) for $1.3 Billion dollars, because he accused them of helping to perpetrate election fraud that made Joe Biden beat Donald Trump in November 2020.

Dominion Voting Systems asked a federal judge on Monday night to allow the company's defamation lawsuit against Mike Lindell to proceed, arguing that the MyPillow CEO's arguments in the case "threaten the rule of law."

"If allowed to proceed, they would impose liability on innumerable parties engaging in ordinary, day-to-day acts of litigation," Dominion's attorneys wrote of Lindell's counterclaims in the case. "They would deter future litigants from bringing their disputes to court in the first place."

Dominion sued Lindell and MyPillow in February of 2021, claiming $1.3 billion in damages and alleging they defamed the election technology company by pushing lies about its role in the 2020 election.

It's part of a spate of lawsuits Dominion filed against election conspiracy theorists and media entities it says platformed them.

Lindell filed a counterclaim in December, alleging Dominion was engaged in an illegal conspiracy to punish him through litigation, and rehashing falsehoods, claiming the company manipulated election results so that then-President Donald Trump would lose the 2020 election.
More at: www.businessinsider.com...

HOW can Mike Lindell's interaction with Dominion Voting Systems within the U.S. legal system, "threaten the rule of law"?

HOW can Dominion legally say Lindell's claims are "falsehoods", if no court has ruled either way?

---------------

While we're on the subject, Dominion Voting Systems said back on January 25th that it "could not settle suits" it brought against pro-Trump attorneys, Rudy Giuliani and Sydney Powell.

Details here: www.reuters.com...

For a company who trumpeted, and had all the MSM praising it, for suing the daylights out of Trump affiliated lawyers 12 months ago, Dominion sure doesn't seem to be on the offensive any longer. Or is it merely trying a different approach?

-CareWeMust

Others have already done a good job explaining why Lindell's lawsuit would throw out existing precedent if allowed to move forward.

As for your other link, all Dominion is saying is that they don't see any chance of the cases being settled out of court. As that's the case, they fully intend to argue the cases in front of a judge.

So Dominion has intentionally set themselves up to appear in court, and explain that they are an honest upstanding company which deserves lots of money from Lindell/Powell/Giuliani, because they accused Dominion of being crooked?

Well...if they're going to such lengths as that, maybe they really are an honest upstanding corporation?

Tore Maras has them named in a defamation suit along with media matters, rep Steve Cohen and some other tools, suing them for 1.7 billion dollars ( that number is no coincidence) and she will win, they are so f**ked its making me smile.

We should all be supporting a patriot like her

Cohen the guy from Memphis who isn't black and is a commie liberal to boot? He stinks. My early years spent as a child across from Graceland made it so I loved reading about Memphis. I recall there were some very crooked politicians there.

It would be hard to do considering they ran the Justice Department when all the peaceful protesting was going down.

I have listened to Tore several times and I like here but am not super familiar with her background. From what I understand she is a government whistleblower and was one of Powell's key witnesses against Dominion. From what I gathered from listening to her is she knows how Dominion works because when she was working in the Intelligence agencies she used Dominion against other countries the same way it was allegedly used against the US.

She is a very smart lady and has done some really good things from a grass roots level in terms of getting people to file legal complaints in their states and it has had an impact.

What's the problem?

They're saying they won't settle. They want the case to proceed.

Giuliani and Powell are saying, "show us your proof your machines aren't rigged, then we'll pay you less money than you're suing us for."

Every trial has a discovery phase. You don't get out of it.
